Nervous- I get that too, every day there's loads in my knickers! I guess it's reassuring in a way that everything is how it should be.

pips fellow secondary teacher here, yes rubbish HOD should have set the cover through gritted teeth maybe but that's why they pay her/him more. Y11 are like pack animals, they see a weakness in someone and flaunt it, keep strong, through the sickness/tiredness don't let them get you down and in 7 months the students will be someone else's problem

Hi everyone!! I'm so tired! Been up since 8am yesterday morning then was at the hospital all night with dh and mil ( she's still with us) left popped into work and then went home watched some tv etc then did the horses. About to go back to sit with dh and bring him home at 12. Then up for work if i make it. Really hope everything will be ok :( seeing mw wed will she listen for heartbeat? Still feeling very suck, horrid taste in mouth, boobs really hurt :( just want to feel happy not worried about home and work!!

I've eaten about 30 cherry tomatoes today at least it wasn't mars bars eh?!

I have news to share, I am so proud my son who is in the Army training college has been accepted into 32 regiment Royal Artillery and will be trained up to fly UAVs (anyone with an OH with an Xbox, ask them what this is!!) he's so chuffed and so am I :) he'll be starting that in September after passing out on August 16th which is also DD's due date and am totally torn as to where I should be!!

Just chuffed to bits :) this year is going to be a cosmic one for me and mine and about time too!

Horsey, no they don't routinely listen for heartbeat extrernally till around 16 weeks I believe, all your symptoms are fab signs :)

Is it normal to still be getting cramps?
I don't get them as often as I did a week ago and they are uncomfortable rather than painful but it still unnerves me a bit when it happens.

I'm not sure if I'm 5+5 or 6+5

Yeh I wouldn't describe them as cramps as such. Nowhere near as painful as period cramps. Glad it's not just me.

Foof you must be so so proud. What a year to look forward to

normal apple as long as not ultra painful and no bleeding :) I only get the occasional twinge now, usually when I lay down to sleep.

Hi lovely ladies,
Phew, my scan went well. I hadn't drunk enough water when I got there, oopsie. The scanner told me off, so I had to go back a couple of hours later. Eurgh! Stress! DH was with me originally but then he had to go to work and miss it. My DD, 1yo, screamed the whole time I was being scanned (argh, stresssss), and I had to have the dildo cam, yuck! everything looked fine. I will have to alter my EDD though, but I'm not too worried about that. I saw the heart beat! It was so hard to enjoy the scan because of DD screaming. But hey-ho it all went well. It was reasurring, but I've just got to shake off the stress hormones from last nightn (being in A&E for hours).

So lovely to read everyones news.

I have O negative blood and DH has positive blood, so this means the baby could have positive blood and this can have an impact. So if you know you have a negative blood test you may well have to have an anti-d injection. You can read up on it on go ogle I'm sure. It just meant for me that because I had had a small bleed I had to get the jab.

Well done to the lady who has just moved home, you are right it can be very stressful. Also my thoughts are with those with ill relatives, it must be very stressful for you. I will update my details on the list now.

iheartpasties glad it went well, I've had to take ds places where he was made to sit still for a while and he wasn't happy about it either so I can feel your pain!

I'm hoping to get a call from the mw soon, I'm 7 weeks tomorrow I'm guessing they wait til 8 weeks it's taken so long to even get here!

Had another bad night with DD running at 38.5 fever. :( Thankfully this is a non-working day.

I was told by my Dr on Fri that the NHS is so stretched around here that I may have my scan before I even see a MW!!!

Last day of work then 2 days off! :) can't wait for a lie in :o

I've got a day off tomorrow as well Going to enjoy the sunshine!

Feel really crappy today, I really need my day off.

Had my scan this morning and it's good news. Saw the heartbeat which was really quite emotional they did say the baby was measuring a little small, but nothing to worry about at this stage. They want me to come back for another scan in two weeks. They don't why I'm bleeding, but she says that it's better it's brown than bright red. I'm so very happy. There's no one at work today that knows about the pregnancy so knowing me I'll prob end up telling someone else so I can share my great news. I see that I'm not the only one with great news which is lovely. I'm now starving not sure whether to go for expensive Tyrrels crisps or a pret cheese and ham croissant. Feeling very emotional right now. I want this baby to happen so badly and I really don't think I can handle 2 mc over 3 months. Off to work now!!
