Hello Ladies!
Izzy That is wonderful news! So pleased that all is well! And a reason was found for the bleeding - better to know than to be worrying!
I have had a vomit free day again. I am keeping strictly on top of the medication 4 hourly - and I would urge any one else suffering to go and get the damn tablets! They are saving my life - quite literally! I am getting the nausea - but only if I don't eat. At the minute I am eating hourly all day. I can only manage very small amounts in one go, hence the reason for the frequency! I can manage half a sandwich, or a piece of fruit or bag of crisps but nothing more than that. I have separated tea in to two courses tonight! We just had salad - and will be having a small baked potato in an hour!!
I feel so sorry for DP today. He came home with some food for me earlier, and it made me boak! He was all 'but yesterday you wanted it'. Yeeeeees - that was YESTERDAY! Today, baby has different wants. Fussy little bean. Wanting something different every god damn day. What I feel I can tolerate one day, the next I never want it again!
He also mention the 's-e-x' subject. I gave him a graphical description of exactly what would happen if he should jiggle me about. And it won't be a pretty site or pleasant smelling.
We went to Winstanleys Pram World this afternoon, as we live right by it (check them out online). We have now made our final decisions on all things pram and car seat! We have decided on a (if anyone has got this far and/or is interested!) Quinny Buzz in Red. We are getting the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat in red, and the matching footmuff snigger for the car seat. We are not getting the pram bit, after much deliberation, we are always in the car - or in and out of it, so a car seat that just sits on the frame will be fine for us. We wanted the footmuff snigger again for the car seat to give baby a little more protection from the cold months as a newborn! By the time summer arrives - little one will be using the pushchair part facing us more often - so no need for a £160 bloody pram bit! All we need is the rain cover for the car seat, and the rain cover for the pushchair.
Note to self. Shut up. Waffle waffle waffle!
Oh damn, one last thing - to the lady who (and I have forgotten!) has been told you have to see different midwives, where I work - and in every area I have worked - the midwife at the GP gives you your antenatal care. You get referred to the hospital if there are any issues, and go there if that is where you want your baby. There is absolutely no reason why you can't see those midwives during your pregnancy. If you want to PM me, can discuss it further? Don't like to see anyone being given hassle when so unnecessary.
