All ok here, baby still seems to have a lot more room in there than DD1 did at this stage, so isn't in a rush to get out. Mind you I would prefer she waited until the weekend at least so my flat can finally get sorted after the works are finished. 39+2

Oh I am feeling soooooooooo left out now - I want to meet my baby!!!!!

McQueasy and Hermione - sweep for me tomorrow too, lets hope it gets things going for all of us!

McQueasy and Hermione I also have a swept tomorrow. I am 40+1 today. I have been doing lots of nesting, cleaning, washing, ironing, cooking and painting.

She has been doing a lot of moving around and buring her herself into my cervix. It can be quite painful and uncomfortable at times.

Hello February ladies, hope you don't mind me popping on to say congratulations to all of you who now have babies to snuggle, and good luck for those still waiting. I was on this thread near the beginning but miscarried. However I am very delighted to now be expecting another baby in July, a 3rd boy! Anyway just wanted to wish you all the very best with your lovely new babies :)

It's my birthday today so I would be very pleased if someone had a baby for me. Thought it might be me as had a show this morning but no contractions. Been to mw - all fine, booked for sweep next week if I want or can wait.

Sweep was a non starter pretty much :(
Am 3cm dilated but NO contractions or even twinges. Just a long uncomfy night last night. Exhausted :(
Booked for induction on Monday, don't think anything will happen before then.
Better luck to the other sweepers out there.

Starting to wish I was on the march baby bus. Feeling quite left out!!

I am having contractions! Irregular at the moment, but painful. Going to take a rest while I can while my mum takes N to the park for a run around. Builders and decorators are still here, but have been warned that they need to hurry up. :)

My little boy arrived on the 17th of Feb weighing 6lbs 10oz, his name is Rowan Henry Jacob and he is FAB!

Glad you are enjoying your cuddles Phlossie, you must be knackered after all that feeding, hope you get a snooze too.

Congratulations Pam hope it all went well, I love the name!

Contracting every 7-8 minutes, lasting over a minute now and cannot talk through them so things moving along nicely here :)

Had my sweep this morning, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The midwife said I was 1cm dilated before the sweep and thinks it might be successful. Fingers crossed!

Hi guys. Sorry for the absence, got out of hospital yesterday after a week. Our baby boy was born on the 16th February weighing 8lbs 11oz. Not a pleasant birth, after a good start with waters breaking and contractions starting on their own, baby was too much of a chunk to make it out without help, failed ventouse ending in emergency CS. Baby had signs of an infection and jaundice so stayed in for a week for treatment. He's doing amazing now and I'm healing well. We're in love :)
