Did the MW clear you to go ahead with the homebirth re space for the pool?

Surely she could give you a sweep now? if she was feeling nice??!
as of the student - i know they have to learn etc, but scarying very pregnant women isnt good!

Yes homebirth is all clear. Though at the rate the boys make mess there will be no room for any form of homebirth! I then have to go about tidying up once they are in bed.

I don't know if I dare ask for a sweep in case the student does it!

Kayz for scare! I went for blood tests today which student MW did all forms for.. Got there to be told that they couldn't do it as forms were wrong! Luckily mat unit is on same site so i went there and they corrected forms and did the tests,which was good as not a wasted journey, so def sympathies on students!!

Hope baby makes a move soon and sea hope you are labouring as we speak!

Ginger, it is bloody horrible here. Pissing it down and very windy. I can't believe how quick your pregnancy seems to be going.

The boys are at their Dads this weekend. So I am planning to lie in a clary sage bath and eat curry and pineapple all day!!

Well I'm in! They phoned back and said to come into the Delivery Suite for the induction instead of ante natal ward. Just hooked up to monitor now and they are talking about trying to break my waters now!

Ooooh Ses exciting news. I really really hope it all goes smoothly and is as pain free as possible. Will be thinking of you.

MW couldn't break my waters as cervix still posterior. Consultant has just said she's going to come back in 5mins and give me gas and air whilst she tries - eek! Otherwise could end up a CS after all.

I hope they manage to break them for you.

Is it wrong to be looking forward to gas and air again?

Meanwhile, DH and I are having an 11th hour discussion on names. We're settled on Aoife Grace for a girl and had been settled on Peter Muchael for a boy but now DH isnt sure. We're thinking about Callum Peter.
Any thoughts?

I prefer Callum Peter personally. I LOVE Aoife Grace. It is beautiful.

And waters are broken....!

It was not good though! Basically she was tugging my cervix forwards to get to right position for baby's head and being able to break them. Gas & air made me feel like I was going to pass out and very detached but it did the job!
