Lovely photos and names. I really like Miri and Isabel. Our DD nicknamed my bump with my son Pico and despite being named Hugo he's Pico all the time now. He's only 13 months so that will change...

I haven't been in front of a camera this pregnancy, except for one with DS on his birthday. Can't bear it.

LittleMissFlustered · 18/11/2011 17:16

Today I shall mostly be on the sofa waiting for the doctor who bit of CiN to go past (between eight and half past according to the Moff on Twitter):)

I love me some Discworldy goodness. Uni rather enjoyed Snuff, after having issues with UA, though that might be because I detest fuckfootball...

I'm a third timer too. Last timer too, as if they deny me a sterilisation again I am going to gouge my own innards out with a spoon!

Hi to all the new folk:)

LittleMissFlustered, same here! I'm asking my GP for a referral to get Essure sterilisation done- (www.essure.co.uk) because I hate general anaesthetic and like the fact that it can be done as a walk in/walk out procedure. It can be done privately too, but costs about 3k, so I'd rather have it on the NHS.

cheeptrick · 18/11/2011 17:26

Is anyone else having curry for dinner tonight? Grin

msbuggywinkle · 18/11/2011 17:40

DP is getting snipped after this baby! Although we're expecting a fight as we're under 30...

LittleMissFlustered · 18/11/2011 17:52

msb Three is the magic number though, you might scrape through:)

lottie I looked into essure a while back and decided it wasn't for me. I'd rather they went in and did a proper cauterisation:o

Hey Ladies,

We have several names on our list for boys & girls so you'll all find out when the baby is born.

as for a bump picture I don't have one yet!

DP came home with a bunch of flowers and grovelled Grin I feel lousy tonight, headache, hot head and cold feet and bad heartburn Sad

figgygal · 18/11/2011 18:00

My name is from the fact I have a Nissan figaro and I'm bonkers about it!!! Will get a bump picture up soon

Xmas shopping BIG waste of time I am without inspiration.

DarciesmumandBump2 · 18/11/2011 18:01

Cheep We'll prob get a Chinese tonight Smile

LMF I've asked for sterilisation to and already been agreed by GP Grin

OiMissus · 18/11/2011 18:07

BTW MW said LO not engaged yet. Does that mean that birth could be weeks off? Or could it engage and go in one fell swoop? Is there any sure fire way to encourage engagement?

3rdOneComingUp · 18/11/2011 18:11

We've also agreed that DH needs to get himself to the vet. I'm cracking on so don't want any more and with 3, he feels he has fulfilled his children quota, even should something untoward happen and he meets someone else.

After the doc felt that the head was fully engaged i jested that 'tonight was curry night' and she blanched saying i would avoid 'doing things like that'. That made me a little nervous.

bennybenbear · 18/11/2011 18:15

OI our baby is not engaged either. Right way down now but slightly to one side (not fully posterior) :s

Had two ladies at antenatal and yoga with me now in labour who were either side of my due date so feeling left out now!

3rdOneComingUp · 18/11/2011 18:18

Bennybear, my first didn't engage until labour started.. Don't fret too much.

sevensevenseven · 18/11/2011 18:22

Hi to the newcomers.

DD will be Eva Rose.

darcies DH's crap would normally be left but I'll be waiting forever for him to sort it out and it was bothering me, though it wouldn't normally hence me thinking nesting. I even hoovered the skirting boards and behind the sofa, I usually avoid housework at all costs!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 18/11/2011 18:36

ahh right - yeah your nesting has gone into high gear then Grin my nesting has gone up a level but not to the point I'm going to pick up his clothes after him!

PullyWoolOver · 18/11/2011 20:00

Have spoken to my medical friends who have made me promise not to worry any more about scan, so I won't . Thanks again for all your brilliant advice today xxx

mrsbuggy love the picture of your bump! Will try to work out how to post one...

seven your dd's name is beautiful, as is yours cheep. We have a shortlist for either outcome, but going to wait and see what feels right.

Have just been in stitches with DP at my latest baby brain antics. We were going to use up the (uncooked) sausages from last night. DP had everything out of the fridge trying to find them to no avail - turns out last night I carefully wrapped them up, put them in a Tupperware box and then, completely bypassing the fridge, put them back in the drawer...oops Blush moving to plan b then!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 18/11/2011 20:19

Pully Grin that is something I would do. So what did you end up having?

aethelfleda · 18/11/2011 20:44

Here's a 33 week Bump Picture

I'm an Anglo-Saxon Battle re-enactor (though with the DDs I do non-combat stuff at the moment. Aethelfleda was an extremely cool Anglo-saxon Warrior queen!
Here's the DDs at Hastings a year ago (they got their ages wrong LOL!) photo

figgygal · 18/11/2011 21:04

I had a very strange baby brain event today I was at a roundabout and I literally forgot whether we give way to the left or right it was quite scary for a minute. Overtired!!

Xiaoxiong · 18/11/2011 21:29

I just took a bump picture for you all in the bedroom mirror and put it on my profile - I'm 38 weeks!

msbuggywinkle · 18/11/2011 21:30

aethel I'm totally fascinated by re-enacting, I have a friend who does Roman re-enacting with her daughter, it sounds like so much fun!

While we're sharing baby brain...earlier today I made DP a cup of coffee. He was at work.

Bump and back are really itchy today, but it stops when I stop thinking about it so I'm off to distract myself with TV!

jigglebum · 18/11/2011 21:36

Anyone else watching Children in Need? Trying hard not to cry.... so sad.

Xiaoxiong · 18/11/2011 21:38

jiggle I just flipped it over to another (ANY other) channel. As soon as I saw the lady saying "two weeks to go" I knew I wouldn't be able to deal with it. I cried earlier on when there were these hard-looking DIY SOS guys crying, and now I know I'll be in floods of tears the rest of the evening.

LittleMissFlustered · 18/11/2011 21:44

I stuck it out until Matt Smith failed to get naked then tuned out Blush
