Hello, not sure if there's a similar thread already but just thought I'd create somewhere for nayone else expecting in April 2012?

I actually conceived about 3wks ago but I think this counts as week 5? Just staring to get symptoms - headaches, little stirrings of nausea, getting tired and grumpier than usual lol.

A little bit concerned because I have a LOT of work on from now until October and maybe beyond - and I think I'm just going to want to sleep and puke through it all - hell! :( d'oh.

About 5 weeks and completely paranoid as it's my first one. Boobs really sore, so bloated I can't fit into either of my work suits, can't sleep and keep bursting into tears; which seeing as it was my birthday yesterday wasn't fun!

But very excited :o is it me or is time going slowly at the moment?

I was in maternity clothes by 6 weeks with DS, just cause I was so bloated! Not had any trouble yet with it, but dying of tiredness and feeling very sick, gradually worse each day so cant imagine it'll be long now before the actual vomiting starts.

And sorry to tell you but I'm just as paranoid with #2 as I was with #1

I'm due 6th April, my 1st, but had mmc at 13 weeks before, so more than petrified and trying not to think about it. Have no symptoms at all, boobs a bit sore but that's it, so am convinced it's already all gone wrong. Now the slow wait for the scan!!!

Would def appreciate holding all the other firsttimers hands :o

Hello lovely ladies can I join please? Got BFP yesterday and due 11th April 2012. This will be DC %232, DD is 16 months. Feeling very nauseas at times and tired but excited, scared and happy!!

I want to update the stats but using an app and can't figure out how to do it.

I got rumbled at work today, although I didn't fess up, because I've bought a bigger car! Exactly how that equals 'you're pregnant' I don't know!

splurs hello fellow 10 April-er! I'm so bloated I'm surprised no one has said anything. Baggy tops for me I think. I'm struggling with sleep too and was crying down the phone to my husband at 7am today.

I'm due 11th April. Saw the midwife yesterday for my booking appointment so just the long wait for my first scan now. I have a ds who is 4. I'm feeling great so far but had hyperemesis with ds from 6 weeks until around 22 weeks so I have everything crossed that this time will be different

Hello all - quick update:

Went to the Dr's today... She took my blood pressure, asked lots of questions, told me what I could and couldn't eat and that was it!

Now have to wait for the midwife appt...

Hi all and congratulations! :)

Expecting my first on 7th April, which is also my birthday. How good a birthday pressie is that going to be?! Got my BFP a week ago but just saw my doctor this morning and now I have the midwives' number in my phone it all seems so much more real. Can't believe it's only been a week since I found out, it feels like so much longer and I'm bursting to tell everyone I see. Must try and reign in the excitement a bit or it's going to be a very very long 8 months!

I'm really surprised how quickly I started feeling symptoms, I was certain I was pregnant well before I got the positive result - I was waking up hours earlier than I normally would, already thinking about food (I'm really not a breakfast person) and constantly needing the loo. I actually got kind of angry when my first test came back negative, I knew it was wrong! Guess I was just impatient and tested too early. Tested again when I started bursting out of my bra - can't believe how much bigger and heavier they are already.

Oh it's all so exciting! :o

Hi everyone, can I join?!! Had BFP on Monday, after nearly a week of negatives! ClearBlue says I am 1-2 weeks, so am assuming that is the equivilant to 5-6 weeks?

Regret having a few drinks on Friday night after two negative tests and a bit of spotting I assumed was the start of a period. Re-tested on Monday, and got a positive, argh!

I shall add myself to the ever growing list! I only joined DS's ante-natal club at about 35 weeks, so the group was a bit smaller by then...

Taking the plunge and joining too
Found out 10 days ago after a massive night of drinking - oops. Dr has reassured me that no harm would've been done...
Anyway, I'm due 7th April, child %232, have a DS who is 2.2.
Getting an early reassurance scan next week (am in Australia so will pay for it) after an early mc in Feb. Just want to get through til then as I can't get excited after last time.
Only symptoms are endless weeing & exhaustion, but exhaustion might be toddler related, hard to tell...
Will be interesting to see how my experience of Australian public healthcare compares to you all in the UK.

Hi fellow 7th-er :)

I had a friend staying for a week just before I found out so there were a couple of nights of reasonably heavy boozing. Nothing we can do about it now, so no point worrying about it I suppose. What we eat and drink shouldn't have much effect before the placenta is formed anyway as far as I understand.

I found out this morning!!! I'm pregnant!!!

Very, VERY excited!!! We have been trying for about 6 months, and I have have thought it a couple of times before... was scared about taking the test as it has said "not pregnant" before... so I left it, and left it, and left it! Clearblue digital says "Pregnant 3+", which makes me about 5+ weeks... according to date finder on here it puts me due on 9th April 2012. This will be our first!

Haven't told anyone yet, but my hubby of course! But will tell my parents, probably tonight, and I'm going to my brother's this weekend to help with a house move, so probably will have to tell them (won't be able to keep it in!!!)

I only spoke to the doctors early as I had an appt for something else on the day i found out. The midwife will give you paperwork to fill in, but you wont have a proper appt until about 8 weeks when they do your booking in (warning to messy people, DSs booking in was done at my house! ])

So yes, if you want to, but no if you're not in a rush. All they'll do is check you're taking your folic acid :)

I might, just to feel like I have done something proactive! I suppose I could make an appointment for the future... as in the 8 weeks, which will only be in 2 weeks i think!

(I was such a wimp in not testing even though I was pretty sure I was pregnant - so in reference to your previous message about not thinking your dates were right, they probably are (I'm actually 39 days since my last period))
