April 2012 babies!

Hello, not sure if there's a similar thread already but just thought I'd create somewhere for nayone else expecting in April 2012?

I actually conceived about 3wks ago but I think this counts as week 5? Just staring to get symptoms - headaches, little stirrings of nausea, getting tired and grumpier than usual lol.

A little bit concerned because I have a LOT of work on from now until October and maybe beyond - and I think I'm just going to want to sleep and puke through it all - hell! :( d'oh.

Hi everyone

No sickness for me yet. I went to the gym today for the first time in 6 weeks, having been a bit of a gym addict before. I did some very gentle sessions on the cross trainer and bike and already worrying I did too much. I'm making an appointment to see a personal trainer who specialises in ante natal so at least I know what I should and shouldn't be doing. I agree its torture these first weeks, worrying about everything. We're also going away for a week in a couple of weeks time so hopefully that will take my mind off it although not sure if being off work will just make me think about it more, at least work takes my mind off it!

Hey everyone, can I join in? I got my BFP last Monday afternoon after having a "feeling" that I might be pregnant - well that alongside nausea, really sore nipples and, bizarrely, palpitations.

After 9 months of TTC I can't quite believe it. I'm terrified something is going to go wrong and I'm going to the loo every five mins and knicker-checking.

I saw the doctor on Friday and I'm seeing the midwife on Thursday (didn't expect to see her so soon).

Can I join you? I found out on Tuesday that I'm pregnant but it was 4 days before AF was due (Sat) so I've been keeping a low profile!

I only tested as was going for a spa day and thought I should check as had a massage booked - was totally stunned to get a bfp and especially so early

I've added myself to the list and have put it all in edd order [anal emoticon]!

Been lurking nervously for a few days or so but always apprehension at the beginning as had a couple of MC's before.
Got my bfp last weekend and gradually starting to feel more regularly nauseous which i hate but love! Will be my no 4, so probably the grandma of the group!

Hi piggy congratulations! So exciting isn't it?

Spout - I'm bloated too, can't fit in to my work trousers (they were a bit tight already though!).

I turned down alcohol at a party yesterday despite everyone's best attempts to get me to leave the car behind and get a lift home etc. I'm sure they all guessed why I refused!

piggy - I don't drink often but it seems to be party season at the moment! Got a hen-do in Sept and a family BBQ on August bank hol weekend plus a girlie weekend away.

I'm a nervous first-timer too so we can hold hands :)

Preggers, my DS is the same age as your DD :)

Teeth #3 and 4 have just broken through the gum and I had about 3 hours sleep last night. Then the little sod bit my nipple through my nighty with the existing two teeth cause I wouldnt feed him! And they are bloody sore anyway. And I've been feeling sick in the mornings for well over a week, from a few days before AF was due (when I just knew !)

My concern of the day is how am I possibly going to manage carrying about enough stuff for two!! The nappy bag is full enough with just the one at the mo, and he'll def still be in nappies when #2 is born!

I don't like being last on the list lol, but I disagree with the date I've been given anyway as I have short periods. We'll see what the midwife says for the date when I see her on Thursday...

Mumsnet due date calculator puts my due date as 10th April. Thats my anniversary

I dont understand where the doctor got the 15th from anyway, 40weeks from my last period would be the 13th?

Ouch - beyondthelinmits that sounds painful! I gave up breastfeeding last month which seems just in time as DD seems to have her top teeth coming through this week.

No real pregnancy signs yet just feeling really bloated. Oh yes, must make a Drs appointment today.

Hope everyone is feeling well, are people allowing themselves to get a little excited yet even though it is early days? - I have moments where I forget then I remember and get a really nice excited feeling (when I'm not worrying - . Oh and I am dreading telling work, I've only been back a week from my last maternity leave - gulp!

My little one is due on the 6th April...My boobs are HUGE and achey..i'm spotty, exhausted,snappy and sick :) But still over the moon :)
A male friend at work has already guessed because my boobs are so huge lol

Actually just used mumsnet calculator that takes 26 day cycle into account and it says due date is 4th April!!!

Hi Ladies! Adding myself to the list. Haven't had any MS yet, but have completely lost my appetite (which is very unlike me!) Ate pasta on Saturday night and looked 6 months gone so I'll be avoiding that for a while!

Also getting little twinges in my tummy which are freaking me out but am pretty sure they're my uterus getting ready :)

Hello new joiners/list additions :)

I've done literally no work today with the amount of times I've got up to go to the loo because of drinking so much water and because I have a compulsive knicker checking habit. My body feels like it does before a period but on steroids - my boobs are sore and at this rate I'll need to go for a new bra fitting sooner rather than later!

I literally can't think of anything else at the moment.

Starting to feel a few symptoms here now too: sore boobs, not helped by milkaholic DS chowing on them every few minutes; fleeting nausea and a sudden dislike for coffee. Last time I got really hot feet for the first few weeks - no sign of that this time, but I do keep having a weird sensation that the hems of my trousers are wet! PG is bananas!

Wow, congratulations all of you :) I got my BFP on August 7th last year. DS, born April 21st, is now 15 weeks old and utterly gorgeous. It's such a wonderful time!

vintage I've got the whole knicker-checking thing as well - although I am trying to forget that I'm pregnant and not think about it for a couple of weeks. This tactic is failing - can't trick myself!
