Hello! I've just found out that I'm pregnant and due on the 23rd March! I'm 29 and live in London with my husband, dog and cat. So far at 4 weeks things are going very smoothly! I'm very excited about going to the doctor (even if they don't care) as feel it will make things more real!
If you're expecting in March too please join the thread and share a bit about yourself and how your pregnancy is going!

I am just over 5 weeks, tested positivelast saturday (and sunday, monday, tuesday...)
First pregancy, been trying for 3 years, had all tests done and were all geared up to start IVF this summer and then - wow! We managed it all by ourselves!
Got app to see doc tomorrow night, i know they don't do much but still looking forward to making it real!
Xxx

Carlitawantsababy · 17/07/2011 18:21

Wow! Congratulations! What an amazing story, that is fantastic news! Please tell me what they do/say at the doctors, I guess I'll phone mine tomorrow, all seems too good to be true at the minute! Grin

Congrats to you too Carlita! I'll let you know what the doc says, at least he will be pleased for me (and relieved for himself after me sobbing over him for the last few years)

mummyhopes04 · 17/07/2011 19:23

Hi congratulations to all you mummys I'm due on the 23rd of march also, so far my pregnancy hasn't been as easy as I would have wished for I am 25yrs old and live in Glasgow, my husband and i lost a baby in april so we were delighted to find out that we were pregnant again but I soon started bleeding however this was not as heavy as a usual period or like the last time when we miscarried so I decided to take another test after a week and to our delight it has indicated that the baby is growing, i'll be five weeks on friday so will do one more test to see what it says and then see my doctor we are so excited and cant wait for the next 8 months to fly in but the wait for our first scan is too much lol and until I see our wee baby on the screen then I think I will be able to relax. Hope your all doing well

kirsty12321 · 17/07/2011 19:29

fatandknackered · 17/07/2011 19:42

Evening all. I am expecting DC3 (still can't believe it!) 10 March. Just hit the 6 week mark so debilitated with tiredness right now, still trying to exercise though as I find it helps a lot.

Hope all goes well for us!!

(Back to worrying about how on earth I will manage to look after 3 children)

kirsty12321 · 17/07/2011 19:57

I've been nauseous and lightheaded for two weeks but only been sick twice so far! And my breasts are stupidly tender, so so sore Sad and some weird stretchy feeling in my lower belly? Strange!

FlipFantasia · 17/07/2011 20:02

Hi ladies. I'm also due in March.

There's already a March antenatal thread in the Antenatal Clubs section - it would be great if you came and joined us Smile

The Due in March Thread

MrsRV · 17/07/2011 20:38

Me too me too!! March 15th... First baby, (except my 2 cats who will always be my first babies really...) baby planned, fell quite quickly too much to my surprise. Hubby and I are both 28.

I had drs appointment just over a week ago. They tested me again, asked me a few questions, prodded my tummy and sent me off with a complimentary magazine telling me that they'd write to midwife about me. Midwife will come and see me at home for 1st appointment before 12 week scan apparently.

Just can't wait to get to 12 weeks, make sure all is ok and tell everyone! So far we've told hubby's parents, my dad, best friend and friend from work (justified to hubby on health and safety grounds when he accused me of being rubbish! Cheek!) Oh and also best friends sister (in order to borrow pregnancy books)... Oh... And best friend divulged to her mum (but only because she rushed out of her parents house to come to mine to inspect approx. 3000 faint lines on a variety of different tests!).

Nice to meet you all! xxGrin

ZhenXiang · 17/07/2011 20:43

Hey everyone and congrats - there is an established March baby thread here if you want to come and join in.

I am 31 and due with no.2 on the 4th of March according to docs, but the 2ns by the NHS due date calculator.

7 + 2

spudmush · 17/07/2011 21:53

Hi mummies to be!. I found out yesterday that I am pregnant. It's my first tme and my emotions are all over the place! Happy, scared, unsure etc... I am due on the 19th March looking at the calculator, off to docs in morning to see what she says! Told both our mums yesterday by giving them a book to read to the baby when we have it. Took them a while for the penny to drop but lots of excitement when they realised!
Was a fabulous feeling seeing my mum so happy and more excited than me!
Only a couple of things I have noticed going on with my body! Boobies are sore to touch but only every now and then! I have got a yeast infection and the twinges in my belly and groin are uncomfy but hey heres to the start of all our journeys over then next 8 months! Congrats to you all and your partners xxx

Davinaaddict · 17/07/2011 22:05

Congratulations to everyone (especially you Carlita, as I was a lurker on the 2012 conception bus & read a few if your posts Smile). I'm 6 weeks, due 8th March with DC2. Very excited, exhausted & feeling the nausea Sad but it's all part of the joys of baking Grin.

Thanks for the links to the other thread - will no doubt see you there Grin [goes shopping for buns to celebrate with all the March ladies]

helgaw99 · 17/07/2011 22:20

Hi all
I'm March as well. Due 15th March, so just over 5 weeks now with my first.
All very exciting, though also terrifying in equal measure.
Struggling with doctors, all the doctors in my area are notoriously awful so I have never changed from my old one. Need to change now and struggling to pick one!
The idea of having to wait till 12 weeks is a struggle, how do I know anything is in there?!
My symptoms have been horrid headaches from a few days after conception, been feeling sick and now have boobs of horror much to my DH's disgust!
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
H x

MummySunshine · 17/07/2011 23:21

Hi Ladies -

I'm 20 and pregnant with my first after being told I wouldn't be able to conceive - due March 18th! Yay!

Symptoms have been bad cramps, sore boobs and EXTREME tiredness.

Look forward to sharing this experience with you all and sharing yours too!

x

jubblicious · 18/07/2011 05:01

Congrats to everyone!!

Found out I'm pregnant with DC2. DC1 is only 7 months! We're due 13th March. To make it interesting we've just moved to USA where everything is different!!

Kayano · 18/07/2011 07:29

I can't tell you my due date til the scan as the doc says 14th March but midwife says 11th February!!!

It's my first and I'm scared. We were going to try after our hold but lo and behold I was already pg on hol, just didn't know!

Carlitawantsababy · 18/07/2011 07:33

Hi everyone! So great to hear all tour stories and how you are doing! I haven't joined any baby clubs yet but good idea! As for symptoms, very sore boobs, very tired and my stomach feels like I've been doing sit ups! I wasn't expecting to feel anything this early but I'm aware of it all the time! Anyway, I did look really hard for a march thread before starting one, sorry, I'm not very good at looking for things! Shall we all move over? Grin

Gingersnap88 · 18/07/2011 09:05

Hello everyone, I'm so pleased to see this thread Grin
I'm due on March 9th (supposedly) but there's been a lot of confusion as I had to go to an early scan last week due to spotting. They couldn't see much, just a sac, so I'm either earlier on (3-5 weeks instead of 7) or it might not be viable (horrible phrase). It's been quite a s art process, especially as I had 2 negative tests before I got my positives 2 weeks ago!
I'm 23, live in London with my fiancé, my 5 year old step son (when he's not at his mums) and our ginger cat. It's a surprise but we are thrilled, I just hope everything is okay with the little one.

Symptoms wise I've been suffering with morning sickness, sore breasts, over heating and an odd pulling sensation in my abdomen. Oh abc the mood swings! It is however, completely worth it! My mum was shocked but she's been wonderfully supportive and excited.

Congratulations to all of you!

FeelingaBitSick · 18/07/2011 12:13

Hi all, just found out I'm pregnant today! Honestly can't believe it, DH and I wern't careful ONR TIME! Smile
Online calculator thingy says 25 March but with my last pregnancy my scan dated me a bit further than that (plus then two weeks overdue!) So I'm going with late March/early April!
We are moving house soon and I've injured my back so this is proving a nice distraction!

FeelingaBitSick · 18/07/2011 12:13

Whoops, ONE, not ONR!

MrsRV · 18/07/2011 18:46

I love reading this thread... and I get most excited when people are due on exactly the same day. Had news today of bloke at works wife having a baby girl called Florrie and just seen on FB that a girl I went to school with has had a little girl too! Must be something in the air!

Oops... Accidentally told another person my news today (ssshhhh don't tell hubby!).

Also, nearly 6 weeks and have just done another test... Anyone else addicted? That's 16 now! Ha ha ha! I guess it's because I've got no morning sickness so keep having to check all is ok (well, not ok, but you know what I mean). Roll on 12 weeks! Xx

UniS · 18/07/2011 18:51

All the best march 2012 mums, You have reminded me that it was this time 6 years ago I found out I would have a march baby. Who is now 5 and at school, how time flys.
