Yeah I have been hoarding old sheets/curtains/towels for just this purpose (although at the time I thought I was hoarding them for painting dust sheets)

Also MW said I have a 'lovely neat bump' and then said 'lets hope it stays that way' we also had a really nice chat about various yoga and pilates teachers in the locale for post natal classes. Deirdre is pretty awesome imo.

Hi all - today has been a better day, we got a cuddle. She's in NICU, now stable and slowly coming off the various tubes and stuff. Hopefully downgraded to SCBU next week, and then getting closer to the exit door with each day. Hoping to try direct BF tonight, in the meantime have umpteen bottles building up from expressing which she is being fed by tube. Will tell the full story when I can - needless to say, keeping this off other online places.

Was reading a crappy gossip mag today, and saw extremely unflattering photo of Rod Stewart's missus - with baby of a few weeks old. She looked knackered, bloated, and still apparently wearing maternity clothes - also extremely pleased with herself. Yay! So sick of seeing celebs who fit into their old clothes 30 seconds after giving birth. Going to stick photo on the fridge as a reminder that it's ok to eat cake and look skanky (my normal approach to life anyway).

Cripes medee that sounds awful. Poor you and poor wee one. Good to hear she is getting better now though. Sending her lots of love and fast healing vibes. And you take care of yourself too. x

Oh, Medee, I can't imagine what you must be going through, but she is getting THE best help available. And love, cuddles and mummymilk are very strong medicine on top of what science can provide. Both me and TYF are sending darling little EA huge love and healing vibes and huge love to you both too. She sounds like she's already getting better, so stay strong and remember we are always here for you :)

oh medee, I really feel for you and your wee family right now. I have been thinking of you lots and hoping it was just a little feeding/weight loss blip that would be easily sorted, or even something smaller. It's so horrible to have to go back to hospital after taking your lovely baby home, but I can't imagine what it's like when NICU and SCBU are involved. I hope EA is going from strength to strength and that you and Mr Meds are doing ok yourselves. We are all here if you need to vent. And we'll all be here to celebrate when you are all back home.
