CC and Alps you have both scared me now. My mat leave does not even start until 1st July! I am working on basis that my lad was very punctual and I went into labour on my due date and he was born the next day. I have to move house first, wah!

Stiffy I haven't quite been popped back sadly (Chiro wondered how on earth i had got myself so very wonky!). And I've started tackling things at first twinge really as I'm a great believer in preventative action. But things have improved I think. Or at least mitigated. And think exercises are helping to stabilise my pelvis. Sorry you're having such a sucky time but as you say, not too long now.

Can't make mind up on house. Me and DP both had do-er uppers for our first houses and initially both said we didn't want to do it again. Famous last words! But it should be cosmetic rather than damp proofing and plastering and rewiring etc that was the joy of last time.

LadyGoneGaga · 14/04/2011 13:25

Yup, Kat!

owlbooty · 14/04/2011 13:34

May I just say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with peeing on 25 sticks. Or photographing them. No.

StiffyByng · 14/04/2011 13:56

Sorry, LG, that wasn't meant to sound mean towards anyone successfully popped! I'm pleased for you that it's working at some level - and I think it's working for me too to some extent. The blasted nerve is the big problem.

Cosmetic updating is the dream really, although it depends how liveable-with the existing house is until you can do it. Realistically, you may only have just moved in when you pop, and will it drive you mad?!

Scorpette · 14/04/2011 14:05

New fred is here, but fill this 'un up first! here

Cinco, Stiffy and Cava, you're not on there, but will contact MNHQ to change it if you give me dates and taglines, Casserole, I don't know the date of your baby's birth, sorry. Will also change that too. Laterz, y'all!

Bugger I read the freds the wrong way round.

Two people have tried to feff my bump today. I am not pleased about this. I dodged around one and the second one I only allowed because short of punching her there was no way to stop it and she was a nurse anyway. It's wrong to punch nurses, right?

rocketleaf · 14/04/2011 15:20

I have been lucky so far, no strangers have tried to touch me and even most of my friends have asked permission first. Maybe I give off a "I'll kick you in the head if you think about touching my bump" vibe. Only been annoyed once by a very drunk friend who got very grabby (at which point I left)

I have also decided I am going to wear bronzer every waking moment for the rest of my pregnancy as the only time people tell me how well I am looking is on the rare occasion I have been wearing make up. Hmm

Todays fun afternoon out cancelled due to car breaking BOOOOOO! Luckily it doesn't sound too difficult or expensive to fix so hopefully will get TB to pick it up on his way home this afters. But it did mean I had to walk 2 miles home, which took a ridiculously long time.

6 weeks til due date as per yesterday Shock

Scorpette · 14/04/2011 17:42

Gah, started the noo fred a tad too early, perhaps. Cass, you okay? Am ready to add the right date in for you whenever you like :)

No-one's tried to touch my bump without permission and very few people have actually asked. This is probably because daily headaches leave me with a face like a slapped arse so everyone is scared of me. My Gran always has a good rub, but she doesn't need permish. Also, I look like a killer whale in a wig; perhaps you just look really good, Booty?

I get the make-up thing too, Rockyroad. Or rather, if I don't slap on the slap, people look at me worriedly and ask constantly if I'm okay Hmm

My Mum has just allayed my fears of laying at 36 wks by suddenly remembering that she had what she calls 'robust' internals a few days before both births (why? 70s MW crapness, I s'pose), which probably brought them on. I shall now cling on as long as it takes to make Loz overtake me, BUAHAHA! Grin Wink (I seen yer comment in the new fred, Missus)

cincotart · 14/04/2011 18:10

Thanks to everyone for your replies, I think I may have been misunderstood.

I've decided that perhaps this isn't the place for me and so I wish you all every happiness with your pregnancies, babies and families. I will of course still be around on FB for those I'm in touch with.

Ivegotmrbitey · 15/04/2011 09:55

Morning all Smile

Where is everyone? Are you all on the new fred?

tarty you still here? Was very nice to see you back and to hear your good news. Your story brought a tear brought a tear to my eye and am very very happy for you that you got your win. Right back at you with the happiness with the pregnancy, baybee and new family.

I have had a hideous night after hearing on the news about the rate of still brith in the UK. Neither biteybach nor I have had a wink of sleep and I have to finish a report today. Next week is going to be so much nicer!

LadyGoneGaga · 15/04/2011 10:26

Have to say it is a bit panic inducing, Bitey. My mum had a stillbirth and is why she drove me insane at the end of my last pregnancy to the point where we fell out and I wouldn't speak to her until after the baby was born. But it is so unlikely to happen - just stay aware of the kicks and make sure you get checked if you are worried.

I had a rubbish night too - MiniG kept waking up. Would giving a 2 year old tranquilisers be wrong?

Got my judgey pants on good and proper last night - programme about pregnant mums who smoke loads, drink loads and are overweight. I was more judgy about the smoking one to be honest. But their midwives were horrible too.

I always have to wear a ton of make up due to my ivory pasty complexion. Sucks. I wish I could be one of those natural types but people seriously think am about to die if I turn up sans slap.

Cinco sorry to feel you want to go. Come back when you're ready - there's lots of support here. But good luck with everything. And enjoy your pregnancy.

Casserole · 15/04/2011 10:33

19th Scorps

rocketleaf · 15/04/2011 10:41

Just mentioned that program on the new thread lady I had to switch off, I wasn't sure if I was getting my judgy pants all twisted because I missed the beginning so didn't really know the circumstances of each lady but it really left a nasty taste in my mouth.

cinco I'm sorry too, would be nice to keep track of your progress on here but you gotta do what you are comfy with. I'll just mither you on t'other place instead Wink Hope its nothing I've said that has made you feel that way

Scorpette · 15/04/2011 11:00

Thanks, Cass - I'll make sure you get your rightful place :)

Cinco, I wish you wouldn't go. I hope nothing any of us said upset or offended you; no-one was trying to invalidate your feelings or opinions, just explain our own thoughts on the subject - and all comments were only to show we were sorry if anything previously said had offended. Come back whenever you want - we'll be here for you. And you know where you can find me in the meantime

GG, I saw that too; nearly suffocated in my own judgeypants. Hard not to when you see a preggo smoking in bed saying 'I can't put the ash tray on me bump cos the baby kicks it off' Angry I've become hella-fat now and was a bit GULP at the porky one, but I'm nowhere near as big as her, so phew.

laurielou · 15/04/2011 11:12

Cinco I've just seen your post, sorry I've been merrily away on the new fred Blush

I sincerely hope no-one has said anything to make you feel unwelcome here. That really couldn't be further from the truth. We'll all be here whatever you decide & I wish you a happy & healthy pregnancy. I would love to keep track of your progress & hear all about the snuffling outcome. Take care, x
