I'm going to the appointment, and then seeing which induction method they propose. And basically take it from there. Just reminding myself of BRAIN and if possible either delaying induction, or at least going home while waiting for things to take effect.

Good plan. You will do what is best for you, and that there baybee, whatever you decide. Will be thinking of you. What time are you going in?

Scorpette · 23/03/2011 21:36

Medee, you are sensible, intelligent, perceptive and strong and also fit and healthy. And you have a wonderful guy by your side. Things are going to go great guns for you, trust it. If you're having an early night tonight and going in tomorrow before you can post again, GOOD LUCK and big luffs XX

The Lad just gave an extra-big kick for good luck too :)

10am, so good chance I won't be on in the morning.

HighPriestessBoo · 23/03/2011 22:18

Right then. Will be on tenterhooks till we hear from you again. Au Revoir, whenever that may be Wink :)

Scorpette · 23/03/2011 22:30

The ESH will be on Lay Alert, sending you lavender-scented sneeze vibes from 10am onwards... try to get a good night's sleep - it might be the last you get for a long while, EEP!

Scorpette · 23/03/2011 22:53

PS I am 32 wks gone today Grin

PollyPoo · 24/03/2011 04:37

Good luck Meds, so excited for you!

milanomum · 24/03/2011 08:20

Good luck today meds! I'm all excited for you!

Scorps that was such lovely boy talk you are going to be such a brilliant boy's mum

I was convinced that we were going to have another girl Boo...Smile

I am now in the shit with names though as TIS has his heart set on an awful one. It's been a bit of a joke of ours since the first pregnancy but now I can't even get him to talk about other names

The sun is shining today and I have to go to work. There's no justice in the world.

laurielou · 24/03/2011 08:24

Meds I've just seen that you're unliklely to be on here this morning - you may have 1 or 2 other things on your mind Grin. But I just wanted to wish you the very best of luck - you are most definitely on the homeward stretch (no pun intended Wink). I shall have the ESH bubbly on ice.........

Pol lovely to see you here, not so lovely at the time. Hope you're all doing OK.

LadyG I'm expecting a surprise too. Part of me wishes I knew as looking at cutesy clothes I'd just like to have an idea. But meh, I'll find out soon enough.

Scorps I'm intrigued by your pink flava premonition. The only person who has expressed a preference to me is my Nana - she wants a boy. I think its because the boys who have our surname for one reason or another aren't looking like producing offspring. Sadly for Nana she hasn't realised that we're prolly going for Mr Loz's surname anyway. Ho hum.

Its great feeling the kicks, isn't it? Bug was going mad for most of yesterday, more wriggly than kicky. I think s/he's moved position. I stayed in the bath until the water was cold last night, just watching my stomach move in ripples - was the funniest / oddest / scariest thing ever.

Mr Loz joined me in the spare room last night so whilst it was nice to share a bed again I had a rubbish sleep. No pleasing me, is there? Grin

rocketleaf · 24/03/2011 08:40

Know you prob wont read this but am rooting for you today meds whatever you decide, it will be the right thing. Vey excited for you!

AlpinePony · 24/03/2011 09:17

How exciting for medee - the day she gets to meet her baby! I doubt it's going to be long - have any of you ever heard of an induction so late where someone was in labour for 5 days? Confused

Casserole · 24/03/2011 09:33

Thinking of you today Medee xx

owlbooty · 24/03/2011 09:52

Meds good luck today; am sending you lots of easy sneeze vibes Grin

Lozza the bath thing sounds excellent, if a bit weird. I share your lack of sleep pain though. I hope you are managing to hang on to your sanity. :)

LadyGoneGaga · 24/03/2011 10:03

Good luck to Medee - thinking of you all. Hopefully you went into labour duing the night anyway Grin

laurielou · 24/03/2011 10:39

Pliz can I lower the tone to usual ESH levels?

OK, I'm already Blush. I know you get extra blood around your body etc etc, but I seem to have stored all mine in the fango area & now have a trouser bulge to rival Mr Loz. Surely, surely this cannot be normal?

(You do realise that I can now never meet any of you in RLGrin).

Also, have a hop skip & jump to Chat & read thread about tampon cake - hilarious

As you were...............

Ocarina · 24/03/2011 10:55

Just popping in to wish Medee all the best, hope that whatever's happening right now you're feeling OK with it and as in control as you can be.

And now I get to go Shock at Lozza ;) I have no idea whether that's normal but it sounds highly amusing for the rest of us. And do you really think that's a good enough excuse to not meet us, given everything else that gets talked about round here?!

rocketleaf · 24/03/2011 11:01

sorry loz even enormoflange is NOT an ESHmeet get out :o Highly amusing tho. I do hear that there is meant to be more blood down there, hence the heightened orgasms some of us have experienced, so could be down to that?

Its flip flop weather here folks! Long may it last

AlpinePony · 24/03/2011 11:07

lorrie There's an ESHmeet next week on the borders if you can make it. Although that makes it sound like I want to see your "Ken doll". Although I think it's a couple of hours drive so not very handy - unless you car-pool with bitey or something. 2 hours 47 minutes. Cock. :( Sorry.

Scorpette · 24/03/2011 11:19

Thinking of you all day, Medee. As Alps says, induction has the benefit of getting your baybee to you quicker, so huzzah! Are harem pants still fashionable this year? Wink

Also, when we all meet as mums, I promise to only think 'enormoflange' (genius, Rocket!), not mention it. Does that help? [innocent face]

I dunno why I guessed the girl flava for you. I only guess when I know what a PESH looks like. People just look more 'girl' or 'boy' to me. Although by my own rules, I look more 'girl', so who knows?! I realise all this makes me sound absolutely bonkers, but that's only because I am. Don't start thinking it's a girl just cos I have a groundless hunch, ha ha!

Do I have to hand in my Mega-Atheist's Club Membership after so much woo? Blush

Fanks for the compliments, Milano - Aw shucks! I think it's more that I am an arsey cow and will be a total lioness mum no matter what flava I pop out Grin
I am sooo intrigued to know what this awful name is now! Pliz to msg me? I'll keep it top secret! Knowing my luck, it'll be the name we've chosen for The Lad, heeeeh!

Ariesgirl · 24/03/2011 11:50

An ESH meet in the borrrrrrders? If I was still chez les parents next week I could have come. I want to meet you in the flesh Alps and find out if you are as bolshy in RL. And as I'm not visiting the NL anytime soon, it would be my only chance. Sigh.

Lozza, forgot you live where you live. I could have come and inspected your bump in Caaaaaaardiff. My life is one long wasted opportunity :(. And MrA is STILL Down Under so I'm still not getting any.

Ariesgirl · 24/03/2011 11:51

Though having read your post upthread, it's a good thing I have forgotten to contact you, or I would be staring at and evaluating your crotch the whole time Grin

Ariesgirl · 24/03/2011 11:52

Oh fuck!! (cluster post alert)

Good luck M'dear!! Hope it all goes smoothly and undercarriage remains intact.

Ocarina · 24/03/2011 12:04

OK Alps, which borders are we talking about? - I suspect Aries and I are thinking of different ones (and she's probably right, and actually if you're inviting Loz she definitely is ).

Arielautomatic did he not leave you a load of sperm in the freezer? Most inconsiderate.
