Have been dying to start a thread so here goes!

Got a BFP on Wednesday so if all goes well I will be due on the 1st July 2006.

Have 1 DD who is 2 years 3 months and am finally PG again after a MC in June.

Come and join in the fun!

Congratulations monkeychops! Welcome to the thread. I think we are all waiting for scans to confirm due dates-I have worked out the 1st July so it could be June-who knows?

Got nasty nausea but it really isn't as bad as with DD-yet. Think I started being sick later than this with her and it went on until the 5th month-yuk. After having a MC I am glad too about the sickness as my symptoms all vanished after 9 weeks-I am 7 weeks tomorrow so dreading them disappearing over the next couple of weeks. ((xx))

Is anyone still getting AF type pains-it really is worrying. I keep going to the loo and scrutinising the toilet paper.

Diddle-10 weeks-get you!!! (xx))

Hope everyone else is hanging in there.

Bed at 9pm for me again as so shattered every night.

Bye for now

Hugs

Hi girls!
I am abroad this w/e visiting my parents - and I am still checking up on the news here on Mumsnet
I am feeling much better in myself than a couple of days ago! Tender boobs are back which is very reassuring No nausea, but then again I never had any with DD and I am not complaining re that!
Hope all are well.
Hugs,
Dangirl

monkeychops · 12/11/2005 18:11

Hi Humphreys corner - I have to say I have had a few AF pains today, which i though was odd... Yesterday I had to rush to a loo in a department store as i was convinced AF had arrived! Luckily this was not the case. Dh and I haven't told anyone yet, I kind of want to wait at least until i have a scan and know my due date. We havn;t even told any family, which Dh is finding tricky. Am seeing Gp on monday so lets see what he says about when to have a scan.
Have a lovely w/end everyone.

Morning all. Well, the Liverpool wedding was fun but what a day for the sickness to choose to kick in typical! Driving up, absolutely fine - just starving hungry all the time. Day of the wedding, awake and vomiting 6am. Manage some food, then lunch, then sick. Then wedding with lousy stomach ache, then reception where I grab all the canapes I can as I'm feeling sick with hunger again, then wonderful meal where I can't eat more than the first course due to a) too many canapes, and b) the smell of lamb - why I have no idea! Then dancing, but I couldn't move. Then coffee which I couldn't go near due to the smell. The bride kept seeing me and saying "are you having a good time?" I kept pulling wan smiles and trying to sound enthusiastic... At least the reception venue had lovely ladies' loos - and I can seriously vouch for that!

Today I feel absolutely fine. No aches, no hunger, no nausea. But I'm no longer panicking. I'm grateful

jersey · 14/11/2005 09:28

Hello, thanks for the referal coathanger. Hi I'm only just pregnant got my BFP on friday & saturday (couldn't believe it!) on ultra early test. Think I'm due on 25th July, 8 days before my DS's 2nd birthday.

We where aiming for aug/sept as didn't think much likelihood of getting preg 1st month of TTC.

muppet3 · 14/11/2005 17:48

Yippee! Welcome over from the planning ahead thread, Jersey - that's wonderful news I'm so glad to see you here so soon. Still getting over the speed of the surprise myself

jamiesam · 14/11/2005 21:46

Hi, can I join you chaps

I got a lovely lovely BFP on Sun am. Due date 22 July, which will be ds2's third birthday!

Have been ttc for 5 months (only took a month each time to conceive my ds's). Have consultants appt on Weds (part gynae, part infertility!)

Oh, and I'm 38 and dh is 39. And VERY VERY HAPPYYYYYYYYYY.

jersey · 15/11/2005 08:09

Thanks muppet, welcome Jamiesam we are very close on dates.

dangirl · 15/11/2005 09:26

Welcome to new ladies and many congratulations on BFP!!
Had a lovely w/e abroad with DD visiting my parents.

Has anyone been given a date for official booking in at hospital yet? Incl 12 week scan (if they are done in your area). I haven't as of yet but would love to know soon. Hoping it will be before xmas.

7 weeks and 1 day today and counting...

Hope all are well.

Hugs,
Dangirl

spub · 15/11/2005 09:36

Hi all,
Welcome to Jamiesam and muppet.
Hi Dangirl, Glad you had a good weekend away.
Dunno about the booking in date. I'm a few days behind you - 6+3 today and was told I'd just get a letter from the hospital. Officially, I'm 12 weeks on Dec 23rd and I'd love to have my scan before Xmas. I'm having a private viability scan on Monday (had a m/c in June)and may well also just book in and pay for a private nuchal fold and blood test just before Xmas so that I can start to (please God) relax and enjoy.
Hope you're all feeling as queasy as makes you happy! I'm really pleased to feel rotten as it seems indicative that things are progressing as they should!

jersey · 15/11/2005 10:41

HI Spud and Dangirl, I've had nothing yet as only just got my BFP .

Rang my docs as last time had to see doc first. Couldn't get in until 30th dec ! Told them that was too late so they have put me straight on the list for the midwife. Waiting for her call in approx 2 weeks time (so I'm told).

My scan should be around 2nd week in Jan.

OldieMum · 15/11/2005 13:57

I hope you are all well. This is a website which allows you to see what your baby looks like at different stages of development. I used to visit it regularly last time I was pregnant and found it fascinating.

Thats interesting, just had a look, my beanie si 0.1 - 0.2mm at the moment!!!

HumphreysCorner · 15/11/2005 18:25

Wow, busy busy busy on here!

Firstly, big congratulations to jersey and jamiesam-woohoo!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the thread girls.

dangirl-glad you had a nice weekend

muppet3-well done for getting through the wedding-I'm virtually living on baked potato and cheese because everything else seems to smell and the thought of drinking my beloved Blossom Hill white wine sends me to the toilet-yuk.

Anyone gagging everytime they clean their teeth?

OldieMum-got confused with the pictures as I'm 7+3 so clicked on 7 and it said 16DPO and I am more than that as ovulation was 8th October-hmmm?

spub-good luck with your scan hun. I am still waiting for the midwife to ring regarding a booking in appointment-I really would like a 10 week scan as I'm 12 weeks on 17th December just after my MC baby was due.

Hello to everyone else-hope you are all feeling OK ish

So, the updated list is now as follows:

Me EDD 1st July
lindilou EDD 1st July ??
dangirl EDD 3rd July
spub EDD 7th July
OldieMum EDD 7th July
muppet3 EDD 10th July ?
lilianna EDD 11th July
ck1 EDD 13th July
wools EDD 13th July
jamiesam EDD 22nd July
jersey EDD 25th July
monkeychops EDD ??

Hope I haven't missed anyone off.

You do realise girls that there will be a due August thread soon Thought we would have had a lot more on the list but there is still time.

Right, off to do a baked potato with cheese-got to put a frozen lasagne in for DH-better put a peg on my nose-lol!

Bye for now

You looked at stage 7. Try clicking onto week 7, which is stage 18. My GP gave me a due date of 11th July today, by the way.

OldieMum · 15/11/2005 21:00

Sorry, that should be week 5 post ovulation, stage 14.

dangirl · 15/11/2005 21:10

Called the hospital today. They have given me a booking in date for the 7th of Dec when I will be 10 weeks and 2 days. I am quite happy with that as it is only 3 weeks away.
I am felling sufficiently grotty to wait until then

Think I might be off for bed soon.

Good night,
Dangirl

muppet3 · 16/11/2005 08:43

Still waiting here for the midwives to get in touch to organise booking in. Going by the GP's dates (which I'm pretty sure are too early, but hey...) I'm about 9 weeks now. If they don't call soon I'm going to start hassling - I want a nuchal scan, and knowing central London I'm going to be lucky to get an appointment within the window if it's too short notice! V happy for you dangirl (and a bit jealous )

Nausea has scarily gone, but have never felt so tired, heavy and achy in my life. Urrgh.

HumphreysCorner · 16/11/2005 08:53

Morning ladies

The midwife has just rung and she is coming to my house on the 25th to do the booking in appointment-I would rather go to the surgery as you still have to go and get your bloods done-oh well. Will be 8+6 by then (hopefully).

Thanks OldieMum-the pictures are really strange-can't help wondering if it will ever look like a baby-lol! 11th July, so you are sharing an EDD with lilianna.

Had a bad night with DD so not only feeling nauseous, feel shattered as well.

dangirl-that is a long time to wait as you won't get your scan until after that date now. Still, like you say it is only 3 weeks and if you are still feeling grotbags then all is fine.

Right, off to get my hair cut and go shopping.

Love to all

Morning all

It is amazing how tired I am!! It is like I can hardly keep my eyes open at the moment.

HC. I was hoping to have my scan on that day as well. I seem to remember that being the case when I had DD 3 1/2 yrs ago.
I am keeping my fingers x-ed.
Otherwise I shall make such a fuss and have a sudden loss of symptoms that I will make sure to get it.
With the 2 previous MC I am rather nervous... certainly couldn't wait till after x-mas.

Have you started telling friends/family as of yet? We haven't, but I don't think I can wait much longer.

Have a lovely day ladies,

Dangirl

jersey · 16/11/2005 13:21

Hi not feeling so bad today. Just tired but thats normal anyway .

Is anyone else showing yet or is it just my slack muscles after DS ?

muppet3 · 16/11/2005 13:45

At least you have an excuse for slack muscles! I have none, except for neglecting exercise for all 27 years of my life so far ... and I'm definitely showing. Yesterday someone at work asked if it was a bump - and by the end of the afternoon, it's really obvious. I can't avoid telling people (other than close friends) for much longer.

After posting earlier, made it out of the flat before nausea kicked in and had to race back home to be sick. Yeurgh. Off work ... again ...

jersey · 16/11/2005 14:24

Thats ok then been wondering how I,m going to hide my stomach until after xmas .

Not feeling too bad on sick front at moment, although last time only felt sick, never actual was! You have my sympathy, dreading being sick as my office is miles from the ladies!

I think if I start being sick and putting on weight 2 + 2 will def equal 4.

jersey · 16/11/2005 15:40

Forget that spoke to soon, feeling very sick now, have been debating how quickly I can get across to the ladies!!
