Evening ladies

Hope you had a lovely Christmas Day. I was still poorly with my cold and then sickness hit big time at 7pm. Trouble is (TMI warning) I wet myself twice as my bladder seems to have given way and everytime I am sick I can't stop it coming out. Keep trying to remember to do my pelvic floor exercises.

Told everyone I was PG and I got so emotional about it I cried.

This is the EDD list so far:

Me 1.7.06
xmasspub 7.7.06
lilianna 12.7.06
kayzed 14.7.06
Straightforward 19.7.06
kbaby 21.7.06
agalch 27.7.06
maewest 28 or 30.7.06

Please feel free to add your dates as these are the only ones confirmed so far.

Love to all and sweet dreams.

Hello everyone. Hope all is well.
xmas has been busy here. We were going to tell family and friends on xmas Day about the bump but due to the pains we decided to hold off. I have yet another scan tomorrow to check that it wasnt anything horrible. Thank god for a very understanding EPU. TMI ALERT Ive been having a really dark yellow discharge. Anyone know if this is ok?
Spent yesterday with a migraine and being sick.

jamiesam · 27/12/2005 22:40

Once again, thanks for all your kind words. Will have to wean myself off visiting/lurking here - on holiday w/o computer access for a week from Thurs, so you're on your own! However, I'll be thinking about you all.

Kbaby - will be thinking about you tomorrow, have crossed fingers for you. Sorry I can't answer your question. Wishing you loads of luck.

HumphreysCorner · 27/12/2005 23:13

We told our parents today which finally made it seem more real

Hello all

I haven't been on for a while - x-mas keeping me busy. Hope you all had a good one.

I had my scan on 15th Dec and they said I was 9+5 as opposed to the 11+2 that I thought I was. Therefore, EDD by my calculations is 16th July.

Are the scans done off an average size to find your dates or are they very precise by some other way?

The dates I've been given mean that on New Years Eve it will be 12 weeks. I may even celebrate with a glass of wine or two at midnight!

Hope you all have a good time.

maewest · 29/12/2005 21:27

Hey - just checking in, hope everyone is ok. Had a really lovely quiet xmas, just me and DH (the last one for some time!), then we had a couple of days with MIL - 200 miles each way and sleeping on freezing floor, but must learn not to complain Did take advantage of my condition to insist on some fresh air and a walk yesterday (usually we spend all our time up there sitting around and eating) which was lovely (lots of frost but no snow).

anyway, enough of my wittering...

HumphreysCorner · 30/12/2005 10:05

Morning ladies

Lots of wet snow here, think it will all be gone by tomorrow.

agalch-in Lincolnshire they will tell you the sex at the 20 week scan so luckily we don't have to pay. I know that some places have a policy of not telling like where you are. Have a go with the string test if you want to know. Tie your cotton to either a ring or a needle and hold it over your bump and wait-it will start to swing. Remember a circle for a girl and a straight line for a boy. ((xx))

Have updated kayzed's new EDD

Just checking in. We had the nuchal scan last week and were delighted to learn that all seems to be well, with a very low risk of Downs, despite my age (43). The baby was awake and doing an elaborate dance, just as his/her big sister did for her nuchal scan. This was the first time we had seen the baby, so it was a wonderful moment. The scan also confirmed a due date of 11th July.

All the best for 2006 to you all.

bumpybel · 31/12/2005 18:29

... a bit of a nervous hello from a 32 year old first timer, due early July. My initial scan was end June, but my nuchal one said 4th July. I'm a total techno phobe and logged on to look for yoga classes to make me feel less fat!.. the next thing i know, I'm two hours into trawling this amazing new world of other pregnant people! Feel like i've discovered a secret world! Can I join please? Plus, the more time i'm on here, the less time I will have to have my head in the fridge, grazing!

lilianna · 31/12/2005 19:10

hi ya congrats

HumphreysCorner · 01/01/2006 11:15

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!

A big welcome to bumpybel and mega congratulations hun! This Mumsnet site is amazing and a great source of support. You will spend hours on here. Let us know your EDD ASAP so we can add you to the list. ((xx))

Got to bed at 3am and am now paying for it as I am v.sick with a banging head.

Will try and rest and you all try and do the same.

Happy New Year all - 2006 is going to be a good year, I can feel it!

Welcome bumpbel - I'm a first timer too, everyone on MN is really supportive & friendly.

xmasspub · 01/01/2006 17:26

Happy new year from a cold and frosty Scotland.
We had a great hogmanay and hope you all did too.
Welcome to Bumpybel. My nuchal fold on Dec 29th also put my EDD as 4th July (previously 7th July)so we may be in labour at around the same time!
Feeling intermittently grim. Thought this was supposed to get better after week 12!!!
Off to cook dd's dinner (and try not to hurl....)
