Hello ladies ? bit nerve wracking moving over to ante natal but thought I?d be brave! Here?s to a trouble free 8 or so months for us all! And hoping lots more of us move over very soon.

Step away from your thermometers ladies. That way madness lies.

Sits back. Feels a bit lonely. Waits for others.

Thanks getdown I will have to eat more fruit. I've had a banana today so that's 1 down. It makes you feel so uncomfortable doesn't it.

What nuts do you eat nix. That would be good for me to snack on. I bought apple juice yesterday so have had a few glasses.

Apparently being undermedicated on thyroxine can cause constipation too. I didnt know that until the consultant said on Friday. Picking a new prescription up tonight so hopefully it will help too.

split im so glad everything went ok! Xx

TerrysNo2 · 07/03/2011 13:41

Yay spilt you must be so Grin

I am Grin for you!!

nickstermum · 07/03/2011 13:52

I have to be selective with nuts IW as DH is allergic to four varieties. I normally eat peanuts with the skins on, mixed in with giant chilean raisins YUM. NEed to increase my intake though as not getting a lot of calcium this time.

Pippaandpolly · 07/03/2011 14:09

Yey for Spilt Grin Good day all round :)

Iwish, hope you get some, ahem, relief soon!!

digitalgirl · 07/03/2011 14:14

That's great news spilt Smile very happy to hear all is progressing as it should.

spilttheteaagain · 07/03/2011 17:11

Oh and also I apparently have an anterior placenta, which IIRC can muffle movements a bit can't it? So I shall try not get my knickers in a twist about trying to feel for kicks just yet.

Iwish you poor thing on the constipation. I would second all the eat lots of fruit & veg recommendations, a good 5-7 portions and try and cram in some branflakes/wholemeal bread/bran generally if you can. Good luck shifting it, you will feel half a stone lighter afterwards Grin

nickstermum · 07/03/2011 18:56

ME too with the muffler spilt :(

Iwish · 07/03/2011 19:46

Thanks nix may go and get some.

Thanks pippa. Oooh I cant wait for my scan. Only 9+3 tho. Not got booking till 10+4

split waaaay tmi but I have managed to go and hell I feel so much lighter!!

Just had some pancakes with honey!! Bit early but mmm they were good.
Also have had enough of fairy washing up liquid. The smell of it makes me want to be sick. And lemon smelling things. Yuk!!

spilttheteaagain · 07/03/2011 19:51

It's a bit disappointing isn't it nix? You get all geared up for movement within a week or so and then realise you may still be guessing and poking at 24 weeks! Though that said I am almost certain I have felt small twitches in there but I just can't be sure.

Hurrah for iwish's monster poo Grin There is no tmi on antenatal threads Grin

MrsP81 · 08/03/2011 07:09

Fab news pippa and spilt! Grin

I'm booking in today, not as exciting as a scan but still looking forward to it.

GetDownYouWillFall · 08/03/2011 08:51

So pleased to hear your scan went well spilt Smile Must be such a relief. This baby has now got further than Bobbie! That is wonderful news!

My friend with almost the same due date had her scan yesterday - she is a week behind me. All is well with hers. Just hoping mine will be ok on thursday...

Hope you enjoy the booking in today MrsP - I actually found it quite exciting - going through history, taking BP, height, weight etc. testing urine Grin Apparently I had ketones in mine Hmm I also got a Bounty pack, which considering everyone in the NHS so far has just taken my word for it that I am pregnant, seems a bit premature Grin Ah well, I enjoyed my free sachet of ovaltine, and was running out of sudocrem so good to get another little pot!! Grin

And the paperwork - arrrghh. So many leafets, sheets, adverts, handouts, forms .... argghh. You'd think having a baby would be a bit less forest-depleting!

Glad you are feeling a bit relieved Iwish - did you "take some time off in loo"? Grin (sorry)

MrsP81 · 09/03/2011 07:37

Morning ladies

Well I had my booking in appointment which was a bit uneventful. As I am moving house soon and will be using a different hospital I have to be referred there and get booked in there as well. Hopefully this will all go smoothly. Hmm

Had my first bout of actually being sick yesterday which meant that the time I spent struggling to eat breakfast turned out to be a waste!

Hope everyone is ok.

Pippaandpolly · 09/03/2011 08:13

Oh digi :( so, so sorry. You're in my thoughts.
