Sasamaxx your dead right (bout popping out placent
) twas like that with dd although with ds, I was pee'd off as I didnt have a lovely baby to cuddle and was a little distraught and completely unreasonably annoyed at being bothered to do more ("just leave it there", I think I said)
.
DS had poo'd before he was born though, as there was loads when my waters broke and had inhaled meconium during the birth - he hadnt to be taken away immediately as he wasnt crying and needed suction, thankfully tough, I got him back a few minutes later and he was absolutely perfect (sorry bit early for birth advice but now that I think of it, note to first timers, if theres green lumps in your amniotic fluid when your waters break - dont hang around to go to hospital, chances are all will be fine but may need to deliver baby asap )
Milliemuffin your right - if your lucky enough to find one good pair of maternity pants your laughing. I actually wore my last comfy pair to pieces when pregnant with ds, I think I wore them every day for 9 months (I did wash them at night though!!!!) is so hard to get one that suits.
Mummynumber2 am so, so glad all is well, it really sounds like you are one of those who continues to have somewhat of a "period".
how lovely to see a nice big healthy baby! and huge congratulations at hitting week`12
Jasmine am angry that you were sent away!! was hoping you would get some reassurance. I really dont want to ask a really ridiculous question or sound patronising but just because you mentioned you were constipated and straining I was wondering are you sure where the bleeding was coming from? Its just when I was about 32 weeks pregnant with ds, I wiped one day and had quite a bit of fresh bright red blood. Was absolutely terrifed. Turns out I had internal piles
and it was coming from the back
(why on earth am I telling people that?!)
NurseSun Woo hoo!!! delighted all is well. You sound like your floating on air. Sorry you got "put back" a couple of weeks though (although you sound too happy to care).
