Congratulations 8rubberduckies amazing news! So so pleased for you.

barbie your scan day is the same as mine and supersunny's, and 2 days after neenewps. Little scan club forming for next week. I'm guessing you'll be fine - you've got so far already!

Anyone else got lower backache?

Mummynumber2 · 07/12/2010 20:43

It's an ok app TTL, I just wondered if you had it as it gives a weekly update describing how big the baby is in comparison to fruits! I'm thinking of deleting it though as it keeps telling me that my ms has gone now when quite obviously that's not the case!

Congratulations 8rd!

Yay barbie! I'm glad your scan's been moved a bit forward!

I don't think I've ever been this cold in my life!

takethatlady · 07/12/2010 20:46

Ha! I'd like that fruity baby app ... got it off babycentre, or some other website :)

8rubberduckies · 07/12/2010 20:47

So glad your scan has moved barbie! Smile

BarbieLovesKen · 07/12/2010 20:52

Thanks a million to you both - was down to all your lovely "tell them off" advice.

Im usually way to unassertive.

What is wrong with me??? Im already considering/ thinking about baby number 4.. PML...

Meant to ask, remember (but cant remember who) that theres quite a few of us in courses at the minute. Anyone else facing awful Christmas exams and how are you coping?

OP posts:
NurseSnowflake · 07/12/2010 21:01

Well done barbie!! Better late than never I guess. No exams but I am on placement all over xmas. Managed to work the rota so I've got a couple of days off though.

Leroy, sorry your MIL's being a pain. It's not her baby though so she doesn't get to decide these things :)

knackered76 · 07/12/2010 21:03

8RD fab news on the scan Grin and now we're due date buddies!

barbie In the middle of a course at the moment but luckily it doesn't have an exam or assignments. Unlike my next one which starts in feb and runs until october, 6 essays of 1500/2000 words and an exam where I have to learn 3 books and do an open question using my own research. Should be easy with a newborn Xmas Hmm Congrats on your results though, very impressive with feeling utterly rubbish Grin

Speaking of which, I am meant to be studying now but have just had a bath and will now go and listen to bob on the doppler before falling asleep with no work having been done Blush . . . oh well, there's always tomorrow!

Clarkiee · 07/12/2010 21:05

Agrh nearly filled up the topic! Does anyone know how to make a new one and attach a link to here (so we can all find it easily). I'd have a fiddle myself but still got shed loads of work to do for the evil inspectors Angry

Hope everyone is doing well, catch up soon xx

TabithaTwitchet · 07/12/2010 21:07

Lol at fruity app. Is it a watermelon at full term? Confused.

Vom at Parma Violets though. In fact just typing the words then made me retch!

Comiserations to those having problems with your cars - that sounds like you had an awful time BarbielovesKen. Makes me almost glad we had to get rid of our car and are reliant on public transport/ Shanks pony :)

BarbieLovesKen · 07/12/2010 21:09

Glad to hear you've a few days off Nurse, not sure what way Ill be working yet (til I start back on the 20th) but Im lucky as mine is 9-5 Mon - Fri so I dont have to do shifts anyway.

Im going to really have to get organised. Im trying to get this damn house sorted this week as it all really went to hell while I was sick.

In two weeks time Ill be back to work full time, full time degree in half the damn time, house, 2 dc and pregnant. I

did it last year and was fine but I was going through a particulary difficult time in personal life so needed to be distracted with being busy so it was welcomed. Am finding it so much harder this time (and Im not even back to work) but cant figure if thats down to this pregnancy being that bit harder or fact that I've a second DC to look after this time. Anyway, really, really need to get house sorted.

Anyone good with organisational tips? I am worlds worst housewife. Really terrible. But I now need to get this sorted cos if I maintain current chaos, something in our busy life style is going to give.

Oooh wish I was fabulous Bree Van Der Kamp type.

Wow!! Im really on a roll with the posting tonight Grin sorry all..

knackered six essays Shock wow!!! I bet you'll be fine with newborn - honestly. Its tough, last year I sat 2 exams 2 weeks before ds was born and then sat 2 more exams when he was 12 weeks and submitted assignments between both, you get through it but you really need to want it, I suppose.

Can I ask what you are studying? (or is that private?). Glad to know I wont be on my own with assignments/ studying next year though, will have a good moan on our post natal thread, please God Grin

leroy you poor thing! that woman sounds like an absolute nightmare.

Think Irish names are a tricky one, some are really gorgeous (I too love Roisín but as I have a ds, Oisín would never use it)but some are quite awful too. Cant get over how shes behaving, my MIL now looks like saint which I never thought I'd say!!. Very strange regarding the Gran thing - what does she want to be called? by her first name?.

Nurse, meant to ask, any word from XP since? are you ok now?

BarbieLovesKen · 07/12/2010 21:18
