Jasmine. Good to get it out. Your friends may have had very easy pregnancies but equally they may well have forgotten a lot of the cr*p! This also happens when you have a new born and everyone tells you how easy their baby was, how well it slept through, how advanced it was.... honestly I have had 2 ds and struggle to remember lots of things, always amazes me when people claim to have vivid memories of things that happened to them years and years ago. I have rubbish pregnancies, feel knackered and sick and then my hips start to fall apart! Lots of people do have rubbish pregnancies and you'll find plenty of them on MN, so don't feel like you're on your own.
Scan stuff is really rubbish, I can't believe they didn't offer you another one, particularly hard that cash is tight too.
Wouldn't worry about the head, if they had seen something odd they would have told you - scan pics are v strange sometimes, particularly if it was a strange angle.
Your dh sounds like he's being crap. Sorry, can't remember from previous posts whether this is a long term thing, hope not, maybe tell him more about how it makes you feel.
Money is a worry, if dh helped more with stuff would that mean you could work if you had a short gap when you felt OK or is what you do not that flexible? Anyway, keep posting on here for support.

banana, yes I am PANICING big style. My scan is in 3hrs and I feel sick. I have completely convinced myself that something will have gone wrong. I ahve never felt this way before about a scan. Have all symptoms and a bump but have been reading up WAY too much on missed miscarriages.... dh keeps telling me it will be fine but I am sooo anxious. Had to ring the hospital to double check appt cos I was convinced I'd get there and they'd say my appt wasn't today and I'd have to wait even longer. AAArrrrgggghhh! Am going to spend the next two hours cleaning (am supposed to be working from home!) with loud music on to keep me distracted... Don't worry about the pigeon, if you've not been ill yet then I'm pretty sure you won't be and even if you got food poisoning there's only a v v tiny chance that it would be a problem. Listen to lisascat, she makes much more sense than me, i'm a bit hysterical!!!

thanks to those who posted on aqueous cream. me and my 2 ds use it for dry skin!!! They get diprobase prescribed but whenever it runs out I just buy aqueous cos its easy to get hold of. MUST STOP now!

Moog72 · 06/12/2010 10:27

Clench just wanted to quickly say hi - I have my scan today at 2pm. I have no symptoms ? all ms disappeared so am having similar concerns to you ? it is probably normal to feel this way! Good luck Smile

jasmine51 · 06/12/2010 10:35

clench and moog Good luck with your scans, once you see the little heart fluttering, forget any other worries and enjoy saying hi to the little thing thats been making you feel so ill! Oh and if its not moving, dont worry - I had a panic for a while but the scanner said it was just asleep, gave it a prod and a very gumpy blob seemed to wave its fist!

clench234 · 06/12/2010 11:09

Thanks Jasmine, and good luck Moog, luck forward to lots of good news later. Loving your sleepy baby Jasmine. Afraid to say I always struggle to make out much on the scan while I'm there, I'm always looking at the wrong bit so I just rely on sonographer and dh to tell me what's going on.
Bathroom and me both clean. Now onto the spare room, parents arriving tomorrow and can't really make out bed or floor!

takethatlady · 06/12/2010 12:15

Kara I have a friend who's a Forever Living Distributor and she keeps trying to convince me to try their products but I've been using Dermalogica for 13 years and love the stuff although with DC3 on the way it might become a luxury I can no longer afford.

I had my booking in appointment today and my 12 week scan is booked for next Thursday. I was hoping she'd listen in for a heartbeat, could really do with some reassurance especially after hearing Clench's news but she said it was too early. I already look easily 4 or 5 months so I'm sure people are going to guess at DD's 1st birthday party next week.

Clench - really sorry to hear your news, wish you all the best for the future xx

Clarkiee · 06/12/2010 21:08

Such sad news clench please take care of yourself xx

Clarkiee · 06/12/2010 21:10

Watch out milliemuffin I had a big ole' bump and that was for a very good reason Grin

I'm a teacher and we have Ofsted in Wednesday and Thursday! Bunch of rotters Angry I want to be praticing the xmas play and making christmas cards not being observed and making the kids work twice as hard- grrrrrrrrrr not impressed!

BarbieLovesKen · 06/12/2010 21:15

milliemuffin have to say, the Forever Living stuff is absolutely fabulous (and I have tried nearly every brand on the market - I've found this by far the best, even better than the more expensive products)

Thats the Aloe range, isnt it? I find it very very hard to get where I am
