Due July 2011?

MadAboutTheBoys · 24/10/2010 07:42

Just got my BFP this morning and so excited! Managed this conception while DH was out of the country so very chuffed that it worked! Already have two DS, one who is 3.2 and an August birthday and one who is 16 months and a June birthday so bring on the Summer parties!

Have never been part of an antenatal club on here before but as this is planned to be my last pregnancy am hoping to find some other July mums to share the journey with (although know I am very early!) Am already worrying how the birth will go as DS2 was born unexpectedly in the kitchen after a 90 min labour with the midwife only just there to catch him, so am a bit worried if subsequent labours are supposed to go quicker whether I will have anyone with me for this one, but at least I have a while to go yet!

Morning ladies,

Congratulations to you all.

Can I join in??

Got a very early faint bfp on Sunday which today is a proper strong bfp. Bit early as AF wasn't due til weekend coming.

Anyway, as I have also started having symptoms, its probably a good one.

Not worked out due dates yet but it will be in the middle of July 2011.

This is DC#2. Have a 15 month old DD already.

I am naturally bit nervous as its such early days but excited too.

Have started feeling queasy this morning. Didn't have any sickness at all with DD so am hoping its not a preview of whats to come!

Mitchell81 · 02/11/2010 10:52

Can I join too? I think I'm due 7th July but will know more after scan and consultant appointment at 12 weeks. Will get a date for c-section then. This is our 4th child. DD is 10 and ds1 is 4 and ds2 is 2. Only decided afew months ago that we were going to have another baby and fell pregnant the exact month to coincide with school holidays. ( need help from sister who is a teacher)

Orchid12 · 02/11/2010 10:55

Hi,
I got my second line last Wed, so will be 5 weeks tomorrow (due 6th July technically). This is DC2, nearly a year in the making!

I currently have very few symptoms, back ache is the only one I seem to have!

Hi all, I am due 3rd July apparently and am a first timer so bit unsure about it all! It was our first month of trying so all a bit of shock! Not had many symptoms really except tender boobs and period like twinges so hopefully all is progressing ok still. Bought another test today to put my mind at rest that there is actually somthing in there! Looking forward to the first midwife appt next week.

mentality · 03/11/2010 04:57

Hi everyone,

Had a BFP yesterday morning. My period has been 6 weeks late but am apparently only 3ish weeks pregnant rather than the 7 I thought!!

Will be finding out more as more appointments are planned. It does seem that I belong here in July though :) Hi to everyone on the board!

DS1 4.11
DS2 3.9
DS1 2.4

and yup, might just love a DD but another boy will be just fine ;-)

stottiecake · 03/11/2010 10:38

Mitchell81 · 03/11/2010 14:41

Congratulations to everyone

Eglu · 04/11/2010 10:39

Wow this thread is gettin a lot of people on it. And we are still quite early for July.

I got a phonecall from the mw to book me in for a first appointment. It is making it feel more real now.

WhizzBangPhlebas · 04/11/2010 10:53

I'm another one, got a completely unexpected BFP last Thursday Shock

I'm not 100% sure of my dates but think I'm due around the 7th - GP has made a referral to my Obs for scan as I have APLS & am on clexane/progesterone/prednisolone/aspirin (it's supposed to be an urgent referral faxed through but would bet the house that they forget that bit Hmm ). This is a high risk pregnancy - I've had two second trimester losses & am desperately trying not to get too obsessed with peeing on sticks etc. I'm feeling pretty sick but my dh has a tummy big so it could just be that. We have three dc - 10, 4 & 18 months.

WhizzBangPhlebas · 04/11/2010 10:54

doh ... tummy bug

BeatrixRotter · 04/11/2010 18:44

Congrats to all. Got BFP today, have been trying for 6 months, last month got sick of all the trying so stopped counting days etc. DH was out of the country much of the time so quite how it has happened I'm not sure.

Am feeling very crampy so not sure perhaps AF is on the way.

I have a 2yo DD and will be due mid July.

I had very clear symptoms early last time which I haven't picked up on at all his time around. I did cry my eyes out the other day because someone had cut down a tree I really liked and that did make me wonder a little bit.

skandi1 · 04/11/2010 20:41

Wow. July is going to a busy one!! Better get booked with the hospital before they all fill up!

Exciting times.

Worked out my due date and, ahem, am a bit embarrassed to say that its the same as DDs (15 months)! Shock

October is obviously a fertile months for me!

chickenmad1970 · 04/11/2010 20:41

Hi all, first ever post on site so might not be very good on the abbreviations! Found out the news on Sunday, so approx date is 9th July. Total shock, not unplanned but as I am 40 next month I was not exactly expecting it to happen! It's that horrible first few weeks, had a couple of miscarriages before having my DS, now 2, so fingers crossed!

Hulla · 05/11/2010 12:24

Congratulations everyone! I think I am going to join too. I am 12 dpo but got a faint bfp at 9dpo. I was a bit scared to test again in case I'd got it wrong but I got 2 nice clear lines this morning so I taking the plunge and joining here.

I'm 32, still bf DD who is 21 months and this was our first month ttc dc2 so I am still quite shocked.

Symptom so far - nausea when I'm hungry, cravings for certain foods/aversion to others, boobs are fine which I am sure will change soon enough.

Looking forward to getting to know you all Smile

Hulla · 05/11/2010 12:25

Forgot to say, my due date is the 17th July based on the date I ovulated.

jewel2000 · 05/11/2010 19:30

Hi everyone and congrats,

Am almost 6 wks pg with 1st. Having a scan at 7 weeks, just wondered what to expect/ look forward to? Will there be anything for us to see/ hear at that stage? I assume that you only get to take pictures away from the 12 week one?

Any advice from others who have been there much appreciated- feeling pretty clueless at the mo!

Thanks xx

WhizzBangPhlebas · 05/11/2010 21:24

you should get pictures from a seven week scan :) They'll probably start with a normal trans-abdominal scan, but if it is hard to see the baby (esp if you have a retroverted uterus) they may need to do a trans-vaginal scan - I've had both at 7 weeks, really just depends where it has implanted.

You'll see a round/oval dark blob which is the gestational sac (filled with amniotic fluid) then a light blob inside it which is the baby (depending on how good the scanner is & where the sac implanted it'll look more or less jelly bean shaped) & then most importantly the heart beat. Newer scan machines have doppler capabilities, if they do you may be able to hear the hb too.

By 8 weeks you'll be able to make out the limb buds which is really cool :)

ScarIettOHara · 06/11/2010 16:19

I'm due July... (on my own birthday weirdly enough)

This is my first pregnancy and I'm very nervous / clueless - will be great to follow other people's pregnancies on this :)

ScarIettOHara · 06/11/2010 16:20

Congratulations to everyone btw :)

notnearlyasblondasiwas · 06/11/2010 18:30

Hello everyone, signing in. Got my BFP this morning and am still in shock! Not sure when my due date is as periods have been all over the place since having my DD (now 13 months) Am very suprised and very shocked (and very pleased!!) as only managed to BD once last month (staying with my mother and has been a bit stressful!) Hoping for a healthy time for all of us!

TeaRocks · 07/11/2010 18:07

More congratulations to all! How's everyone feeling? Because I am feeling really sick now - but am just reminding myself that's a good sign!!

Hulla · 07/11/2010 18:27

Hi TeaRocks I feel crap! Really tired, waves of nausea - especially when I'm hungry. I'm off tea, craving strong flavours and having bizarre dreams!

We told DH's parents yesterday, they asked if we were joking, didn't congratulate us, didn't even smile actually. MIL said I was at risk of losing it so early and shouldn't have told them and his FIL called DH a randy sod. I am so disappointed by their reaction I can't express it in words Sad.

I have never joined an antenatal thread before - do we need a stats list? Names, due dates?

Hulla · 07/11/2010 18:29

Sorry - my FIL/DH's dad

notnearlyasblondasiwas · 07/11/2010 19:33

I think a stats thread is a fantastic idea - will start the ball rolling and if I have left off any vital information feel free to add it and I will update mine:

NNABAIW: EDD 10/07 pg#2 age 33 (DD 13 months)

Hulla · 07/11/2010 19:51

NNABAIW: EDD 10/07 pg#2 age 33 (DD 13 months)
Hulla: EDD 17/07 pg#2 age 32 (DD 21 months)
