Hi TINKS! Looks like we're sharing the weekend shift Wink
Dh at a party with older dds,and hoping to get out with dd2 and ds this afternoon if the rain stops..
Rainbows is great TINKS (so I've heard, the waiting list is 5.5 years can you believe!!!) I was in Brownies and Guildes myself and loved it, though not much chance of getting my dds in due to the lists.Problem is, everyone wants their dds to go, but no-one wants to run the sessions!

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 12/09/2010 15:56

i went to brownies and gudes too Grin
dd1 was on waiting list for 1 year

went into town when dd2 woke up @ 1:30pm raided elc bought dd2 - happyland caravan and family people set and dd1 chose small scribbler and choc lolly

DH is coming on n heaps and bounds. copies everything now, and recognises alot more things.

GruffaloSoldier · 13/09/2010 12:37

Hello everyone!

I have just got in from work. DH and GC are out somewhere (not sure where!!?) so I am getting some mn time before they are back!

Work is def getting tougher - the nausea is just manageable but Im so tired by the end of the morning I just want to curl up and go to sleep! I do have an afternoon nap with GC but I just dont want to do anything! I hope this passes soon. I don't know how people full time working mums cope. I guess you just do what you have to do.

Tink - re boots do you mean wellies? I have them already! In fact I have a few of the next sizes too as my Mum/sis always look out for them in charity shops and just buy them when they see them. The ones we have at the mo look like they have never been worn! And they don't cost me a penny which is even better Grin

Diege - LOL at hiding ovulations!Hope they turn up soon!

Hello Ses, GY and MMM, anyone else!

I am sorry for not catching up more but the screen going up and down is making me feel so yuck!

Right I need to go in search of some lunch!

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 13/09/2010 17:20

no i mean leather winter boots

hi max and gruff Grin

bless u on tiredness and nausea

cantmummyhaveabreak · 13/09/2010 18:05

Gruff- i'm in the same boat as you, between school run's, dealing with all 3DC's and everything else i'm sleeping most of the afternoon (well, b etween lunch and school collection) when DD2 naps- but i've just got NO energy.

Still keep having 'off' days too... sicky horrible feeling all day, still sick most mornings atm even with my meds- i just know it'd be a nightmare without the meds.

Trying to keep up where i can, but as it's not so busy on here it's not so hard to do Wink

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 14/09/2010 09:04

morning

very yukky weather here
very dark and cold!!

quiet day today

cant - sorry for sickness and tiredness

GiraffeYoga · 15/09/2010 07:18

Morning ladies

Real autumn morning here. Quite chilly and dark.

Sorry for nausea can't. Hope you are ok. Is your friend able to support you at all with your other DCs so you can rest?

Gruff glad to hear from you. You are doing great doing a non desk type job whilst in early preg stages. I can't imagine feeling that bone tiredness whilst being all jolly and active! I only just managed slumping at my desk! Hope it passes soon.

Our first round 2 nct baby was born last week. Got to have a cudddle Monday night. I really did forget how tiny they are!!

Hi everyone!

Hi there

Gorgeous sunshine here too and I am home all day

I have done much better getting up at 8.30 today! I have managed to do some chores etc so feeling good! Just having a well earned rest now :)

Still feeling so sick but am keeping on top of it ok.

I just got a parcel from my Mum in Scotland. She has sent me 3 bras and a cardi and a snow suit for winter for GC. Hooray!Grin

I am amazed at GC's speech in the last couple of weeks. He has about 30 words now - for 16 months that aint bad!He is copying stuff we say all the time. Got to be so careful what we are saying LOL!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Rugbylovingmum · 15/09/2010 14:54

Hi all,

sorry I haven't had a chance to post for a few days, C is really keeping us busy and on our toes just now crawling and climbing all over the house Grin. I've been reading but never seem to get a chance to write so I thought I'd have some naughty mn time at work Wink.

Gruff - sorry you are still feeling sick but yah for a day off in the sun AND a parcel. I love getting stuff in the post especially if it's a surprise. GC sounds very cute chattering away.

Cant - hope you are having a lovely nap this afternoon!

Tink - boots sound good, might have to think about a pair of cruising/pre-walkers for C.

MMM - how was little angels - did you make it?

Ses - very cute pics of Owen on fb today, he is so big now (must be all the weetabix Smile).

Hi GY, Diege, Moosy, anyone else lurking.

Well I've just found out that I'm going to be an auntie again, my SIL is 10 weeks pregnant Grin. She is suffering with horrible migraines again Sad but they are VERY excited. I thought the news might make me broody but I can't imagine having another yet - we do want another LO sometime but I'm thinking maybe in a couple of years when I am between contracts and C is a bit older. If I'm honest I'm not really a fan of the tiny baby stage and I'm enjoying her so much more since she started getting a bit more mobile and interacting with us more. I'd happily have another DC if we could just find a way to skip the pregnancy and newborn bits Grin.

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 15/09/2010 16:53

evening Grin

hi gruff - parcel sounds good Grin

hi rugby Grin

congrats on being an auntie again

GiraffeYoga · 16/09/2010 13:22

Wow, tumbleweed blowing about again

Tink- Hi!

Rugby good to hear back from you again. How are you finding work/ nursery is balancing out?

Hi Grufff Grin

Tired today so sipping a large coffee.
Any one got some wagon brownies to be shared?

OP posts:
Rugbylovingmum · 16/09/2010 14:11

Hi GY - no brownies here I'm afraid. I had to go to the dentist for a root canal treatment this morning Sad and my jaw is too stiff to eat, even chocolate Shock.

The nursery/work balance is working out well so far Smile. It helps that DD loves nursery and both DP and I are able to be quite flexible with our start/finish times. I've had a touch of mummy guilt this week as she been a bit quiet and whingy, really windy and had 8+ dirty nappies a day. I think the problem is just that she's been teething and has lived on soft fruit, soggy veg, yogurt and milk (oh and plenty of calpol) for about a week which is fine but can't be great for her digestive system Hmm. She's eating again now so hopefully she'll be back to herself again soon but I feel awful dropping her off when she is off-colour. The girls have said she is fine, just wants more cuddles than usual Smile but I think mummy's are programmed to feel guilty anyway Wink.

Diege · 16/09/2010 21:55

Hello!Just wanting to say hello, have been very busy at work/conferencing and heading off now for an early night. My ovulation is still awol - how odd that the same thing seems to have happened to SES!
Anyway, will have a read back and see where things are up to - I've seen that there are wagon brownies in the offing though, which bodes well!
Off to bed, see you all tomorrow x

GiraffeYoga · 17/09/2010 08:09

Hi

TFI Friday!!

Rugby- ouch for root canal! Glad the nursery work thing is working out well. It really helps when they love being at nursery. But agree guilt is something no one warns you about. It should be a warning on a pregnancy test kit, bit like the warnings on cigarette packets!

Better go lots on today. :)

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 17/09/2010 09:14

morning

hi diege Grin
dont work 2 hard!! Wink

Diege · 17/09/2010 12:00

Morning! Happy boots-buying TINKS Smile
GYO I agree about the guilt -I am currently feeling very guilty about cancelling a dr's appointment for dd2 due to a meeting I can't get out of Blush
RUGBY, great to hear from you; sounds like you're slowly loosening the wagon safety belt Wink. How is the tooth now?
Must go and tidy the kitchen - there are raisens everywhere courtesy of ds - his current passion is pushing everything off his high chair table and then crawling onto the main table Biscuit
Back later x

tinkhasboughtoutalltheshops · 17/09/2010 18:11

i did enjoy boot buying thanks diege Grin
got dd2 brown ones in clarkes with owls onGrin
