Morning.

been catching up but not having time to post.

Got some things to get listed on ebay over the next week so may manage to keep up a bit more.

Diege- Glad you're having some sort of symptoms... tho i've had 4 pregnancies now, and didn't have a single symptom with DD2... all others been sick by 4weeks pg... so it can be different!! :) How are you fixed for the 19th? do you know about party plans etc yet? DC's are really hoping we can meet up as they wanna see you're DD's... and i'm sure DD2 & your DS will be much more aware of each others existence this time!! Grin

Got my friend (beany's mummy) over today, we're off for a bit of shopping and some nando's for lunch!! Very excited- i crave nando's!!

tinksbabyis2 · 09/03/2011 09:42

GingerbreadGiraffe · 09/03/2011 20:43

tinksbabyis2 · 10/03/2011 09:47

morning ginger Grin

Diege · 10/03/2011 12:09

Hello! All ok here - am actually feeling quite nauseous today (in an underlying way; no compulsion to vomit)which is cheering me up. How are things GING, TINK?

Starshinetiger · 10/03/2011 13:34

Just checking in....
Yay for nausea Diege - must be the only time in a woman's life that she is pleased to feel nauseous.
Work manic - forcing a lunchbreak today and now really reluctant to get back to the horrendous workload - am in paralysis not knowing what to do first Confused
Hi Tink, Ginger, everyone else who is lurking.

Diege · 10/03/2011 13:47

Hee hee, I am also in work paralysis STAR (I like that turn of phrase). I have a deadline to meet but have brought home the wrong docs on my penstick so am basically havig to work from scratch....sickness a little better after eating, but still there (feels like I've overdone it on junk food if that makes sense?). Good luck with the work: Your mistake was taking that lunch break! Wink

tinksbabyis2 · 10/03/2011 16:08

hi diege

Rugbylovingmum · 10/03/2011 16:50

Hi all,

sorry I'm being crap about posting. Things have been crazy at work - we are doing some outreach events and, as usual, no-one has done any of the jobs they signed up for so I have been rushing around trying to sort everything out at the last minute. I am a bit nervous actually, I have to run 5 x 20 min science sessions for primary school children tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed it goes well and I manage to keep them interested [panic icon].

We are also trying this 'wake to sleep' thingie with DD. She has been waking at 5 am again for the last month or so and I feel I have to try something. The theory is that you wake them an hour before their usual getting up time (not fully awake but enough to disturb their sleep) then let them drift off again and that should disrupt their sleep pattern and stop them waking at 5 am Hmm. I'm not totally convinced but will try anything that might get her to sleep until at least 6 am - I just can't resign myself to getting up at 5 am every morning. I tried it last night and she slept until 6.20 am which is a good sign but I lay awake from 4 am when my alarm went off so I'm shattered - we are meant to do another 5 nights before leaving her to see if she sleeps later on her own. , it's going to be a long week.

Diege - glad you are feeling reassuringly sick but not awful Wink

Hi cant, star, tink, ginger ........

GingerbreadGiraffe · 11/03/2011 08:08

Morning

Hooray for some nausea Diege- (agree, that sounds ood!)

I also suffer paralysis regularly. It really is paralysing as all I want to do in MN on those days!

Rugby- that sounds exhausting, hope that it has the effect.

Hi Tink

Bumps how are you doing?

tinksbabyis2 · 11/03/2011 09:20

morning - hi rugby good luck for classes today Grin
hi ginger

cantmummyhaveabreak · 11/03/2011 11:54

Morning all. Have got myself a new phone this morning so I can catch up anytime! I feel so happy just knowing I can access mn and th at the touch of a button on my phone! Very sad eh!

Diege- wuhoo for nausea! Any update on the 19th?

Diege · 11/03/2011 13:14

Hello! CANT, I'm tending towards not being able to make it sadly for the 19th (could do the 20th?) as we will probably need to travel over to Wales for the birthday on the Saturday as trains not a reliable service on the Sunday (the bus replacement serviuce won't take buggies Hmm)We are thinking of training it up to Blackpool again when it gets warmer though (dd1 hasn't forgotten the mention of the waterworld place Grin)
RUGBY. I'll admit that my first thought of the 'wake to sleep' was nooooo, don't do it! Wink as my worry would be that I can;t see how it would encourage them to sleep through (ie, can see how it would work short-term perhaps, but how long do you have to keep going?) I'd be very happy to stand corrected though Grin. DD1 went through this very same thing (5am starts) but it did stop by her second birthday and I just used to go to bed an hour earlier. Please let me know how you get on - I'm intrigued!
GING, it's strange how work overload makes you google/MN - I think it's the brain's response to impending nervous breakdown Grin
Hi TINKS, how are things?
Still feeling sick here - at the stage where you feel like you've eaten too many haribos, so under-lying nausea and not vomiting, touch wood!
Away with friend this weekend, staying over in Manchester and going to watch X-factor live tour on the Sunday!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 11/03/2011 13:52

Diege- will see what dh says about the 20th but I don't see a real problem with it as he's off the sat, sun and Mon. And we had no other plans.

Diege · 11/03/2011 17:06

That would be great CANT if you could do the Sunday! Don't worry if not though, they'll be another time Smile

cantmummyhaveabreak · 11/03/2011 18:38

DH is on a late shift today but I'll let you know either this evening or tomorrow. Do you know if there's any car parks close to U S? Weighing up the pro's and con's of train 's car.

Diege · 11/03/2011 18:50

Thanks CANT! Will check car parking for you, but from memory you could use the Liverpool One one (free I think), or the one that's by the docks.
Wondering how BUMPS is getting on - has anyone heard from her?

Diege · 11/03/2011 18:55

Just checked, Liverpool One NOT free parking (that was at xmas) About £8 for 4 hrs!! Shock

cantmummyhaveabreak · 11/03/2011 20:29

DH is home now. I think we're good to go on the 20th. By time we've paid fuel and parking we may aswell get the train. DC's will love the train anyway! I could possibly be bump free by then too- having mild but regular tightening this evening! I'm really hoping it does develop further as I'm sick and tired of it all now!

Diege · 11/03/2011 21:01

My goodness do you think this could be it? Shock I will pencil in the 20th but obviously let me know how things develop!

Starshinetiger · 11/03/2011 21:27

Ooh, Can't - how far along are you now? Have you told your friends re the tightening? How exciting!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 11/03/2011 21:40

Have told friends and they're on standby for bombing it over on the motorway if need be! We're 34wks today... So to say dd2 came at 32wks it wouldn't be a shock if this is gonna become the big day/night! OMG I'm getting scared now!

Diege · 11/03/2011 21:49

Thinking of you CANT! You and baby will be fine at 34 weeks...keep us posted if at all possible!
Hi STAR!

tinksbabyis2 · 11/03/2011 21:57
