Rinnyx, I hope your step nan pulls through. I know how hard it is to be in that position. We lost DMIL when i was at this stage with dd1. She was looking forward to her second grandchild, and would now be looking forward to her6th. FIL not very interested at all. Sending love and hope your way. xx

4madboys · 30/10/2010 17:30

oh rinny, fingers crossed your nan picks up a bit and gets to meet ds xxxxxx

thankyou for all the good wishes for ds3, he seems a bit better again today, but is still very tired, its just going to be a waiting game for him to get well, lots of rest, but its hard to make a 5 yr old rest!

congrats to all the new arrivals! they seem to be popping out all over the place now! Grin

no signs of madame arriving tho i am getting to be increasingly uncomfortable, partly through the stress of ds3 being so ill i think, i have been feeling tense and all my muscles feel tight, so been having a bath everyday adn taht seems to help a bit.

midwife coming on tuesday to drop round home birth kit, other than that not much happening, boys back at school on monday, well the elder two will be, we have to take it day by day with ds3, he wants to go to school but i think it may be a bit much for him, will have to wait and see.

Congrats to ebb on Abbie's arrival. Sounds like a reasonable labour!!

I am getting painful bh every night starting about 5pm. Particularly bad last night with additional pain in groin which I think are mild contractions. I wonder if I will make it to induction on the 8th. In laws arriving tomorrow so I'd be quite happy to go in a long labour just to avoid them.

Congratulations to Addicted and Ebb! Such lovely names!

Rinny all the best for your nan.

smokeyb omg, in laws now?? My end of pg irritation levels are waaaay too high for in laws. Hope those BHs turn into something and you can send them home.

Fenouille · 30/10/2010 19:30

Congratulations harmony, addicted and ebb :)

Thinking of you Rinny xx

I'm now 3 days overdue, back at the hospital for monitoring this morning and have to go back tomorrow. I suspect they're going to want to keep me in as they were muttering about foetal movement patterns.

My Mum arrives tonight so spent evening getting last minute things ready. Now we're collapsed on the sofa trying to appreciate the last few hours as just the too of us. (Is :( inappropriate?)

PrivetDancer · 30/10/2010 19:33

Congratulations Ebb!! Another great name - my dd is an Abigail :)

Congrats to all new mums!! I'm getting exited now, due date on Sunday...

Haven't had any bh at all, and no idea in general of when the baby might arrive as this is our first one..

Trying to keep active and go for walks every day.. Getting harder every day.
