Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven
Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain
Than I could ever be.
She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard
Then gave your hand to me.

Although you may not feel my touch
Or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you
While I wiped each tear you cried.

So please try not to ache for me
We'll meet again one day.
Beyond the dark and stormy sky
A rainbow lights the way.

As for flossy - well she is fine - lovely bruise on her forehead, but the lumps gone down. Thankfully, no after effects. Phew.

Dee, is Flossy a Welsh thing? My beloved grandad used to call us Flossy and he was Welsh.

Morning all, am feeling a little brighter this morning! Have got to go to the storage area and try and find some VERY important books needed for research for my talk on Joyce Grenfell on Thursday! Wish me luck! The garage is totally upside down and i looked yesterday and couldnt find them.....

I dunno, ilike - i actually call her flossy floo, as my sister calls me . It's just a nickname thats kinda stuck - even boyo calls it her. I'll keep my fingers crossed about the lead for boyo too - thanks

Dee, please give these people a try. I know someone who has used them and whilst in her instance they are unable to give long term help, they have given her a free advice session and help on where to go for further advice.

Today went much better than I thought Lew missed his Mummy - especially when he got tired and Ems said she had a cry before she got to work and then when she was in - but we all got through it and tomorrow is another day. It was great fun but I am totally cream crackered. I had forgotten the walking and pushing the buggy

Shabs, i received an email from someone on Aled Jones show, hundreds of people have asked for the poem. She has put it up on the website but was asking where i had got it from as she was worried about copyright! I sent her a link to the book on Amazon. She also said they would try to play me a BNC song next week!

WOW Lottie - think you did a grand job there love....it is one of the best poems I have ever read. Like we said before even if it touched just one bereaved parent it was worth it xxxxx

I slept between 5pm and 6pm

Lew is like our Tom used to be - 'allergic' to sleep!!!! He just cat naps - little bursts of sleep. My arms are aching!! I must have lifted his 19lbs well over 50 times. He has been crawling to the settee and then trying to pull himself up on it I will be as fit as a fiddle soon. xx
