Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven
Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain
Than I could ever be.
She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard
Then gave your hand to me.

Although you may not feel my touch
Or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you
While I wiped each tear you cried.

So please try not to ache for me

Beyond the dark and stormy sky

Night x I have been down the pub.Mr Garden Man walked in and looked at me..I held his gaze and didnt say anything...he knew what the problem was!! The washing machine SHOULD be here tomorrow! Watch this space girls!!

Today is a good day , the sun is shining , I have been for a long walk and am actually enjoying doing housework (scary but true)

Jamie started going through Harrys memory box this morning , he likes to have a nose through every so often . I found a letter I had written to him a few months after he died and it was so painful to read but made me realise how far we have come since those early dark days.

Hope everyone is ok today and Lottie fingers crossed your washing machine comes today

Hi Girls sorry to bother you i saw this on ebay and wondered if anyone could email the lady I cant stop thinking about her but wouldnt know what to say

Guess what! The waste pipe was blocked and has forced water out all over the floor that was laid last week! I cant believe it. I think i'm jinxed!! I think all the floor will have to come up again!

Maclaren - I will try to email her later when my son has finished on the computer. Why dont you email her and just tell her about this thread? All you need to say is that you are sorry for her loss and you wonder if Mumsnet could help. x

This is the gone to soon page for the baby maclaren mentioned! Looks like the mother is having a hard time! I can claim on the insurance Shabs but i cant believe it has happened again!!

I have done shabster I read the link Lottie which is why I thought she could do with someone to talk too very said the babies Dad ruined the babys grave at christmas

Well done Maclaren - hope she comes and joins us - lovely bunch of mums on here - and it is not a miserable thread either. We all have our moments but everybody is so supportive when one of us is feeling down xx

Hi all, I went out with all my pals to cheer myself up last night, i didnt get home till 12.20 am! Very late for me! Guess what? Something good has come out of the time when Wilfs Dad was so ill before he died. He bought himself a portable nebuliser a month before he died and hardly used it........it was packed away and forgotten about till two weeks ago when i heard that my friends son needed a portable nebuliser! (he has a lung condition) Ted now has the nebuliser that was Franks! They have an electric one for the house but they go camping a lot and needed a portable one! I am so pleased i was able to give it to him and i know Frank would have definetly approved!

All is well!!! Thank goodness! Am still going to get the insurance company to get the floor taken up just to make sure the water hasnt done any damage! I was so lucky the other day, the builders wife had the plumbers at mine in ten minutes!! I took Wilf shopping yesterday, he saw our friend who has done a lot of tv work... (I wont do any naming!) Wilf said in his loudest voice "IVE SEEN YOU ON THE TELLY!!" How to win friends and influence people!!
