Welcome to our santuary and haven ladies.

Many thanks for Frasersmummy for passing the baton onto Cole and I. I am touched and hope I can do all our lo's justice.

For any people wanting to join, don't be shy. We cry, we rant, we smile, we laugh - whatever we feel like we need to do.

Good Morning xx

Morning ladies. We've had a busy weekend so I've just been catching up.

FM - healing vibes being sent your mums way, and some calming vibes being sent to you. What you said about coping rings a bell. I have always been very good at coping with what life chucks our way, but since losing Cole and having Mac it doesn't take much for me to have a wobble.

FMN - you and your darling dd are still in my thoughts most days.

Hello everyone

We have had people staying this weekend so very busy . Had a lovely time and thanfully good weather . Trying to get the house back to order now .

feedmenow · 23/02/2009 17:35

Sorry I have been gone so long again!

Just to let you all know we were discharged from hospital 12 days ago and are now all at home together.

Kyirrie is rather an unhappy little girlie (understandably I think!) and is demanding an awful lot of time and attention, hence no MN time for me!

She is on medication and vitamins, and will be until at least April. We have follow up appts at Royal London in 4 weeks, and local hosp in 6 weeks, weight gain being closely monitored, blood tests for liver function in a few weeks, etc, etc, etc.

But she is home, and is pretty well all things considered!

Will try and post a picture to my profile very soon.

Love and hugs to all. xx

shabster · 23/02/2009 19:23

FMN - so glad to hear you are all home. She sounds a proper little fighter. As long as you 'report in' to our thread whenever you can!! I would just concentrate on you and your lovely family. Big kisses to all of you xxxxxxx

hazygirl · 24/02/2009 12:40

fmn that is fabolous news that your little darling is home ......enjoy her and we all look forward to seeing her.
hope everyone ok ...bit erm dont know here,my 17 year old dd wants to get a place with her chap, lovely lad its gonna be hard just me and dh,weve never had that i want to be happy but shes just 17 and we know its not easy, shes a student.
ds is still not drinking.back at hospital on thursday for check up,its nearly two month.

Deemented · 24/02/2009 14:37

Hay - your ds is doing so bloody well - i bet your pleased as pounch with him!

As for dd... if it were me, i'd be very very hesitant.... but i think maybe i'd let her go... i'd be thinking that once she's tasted 'real life' i.e, runninga flat, budgeting, doing her own washing/ironing/cooking ect, then perhaps she'll realise what she has at home and want to come back. Is thaat likely, do you think?

shabster · 24/02/2009 14:47

He is doing so well Hazy - so proud of him.

Tend to agree with Dee with regards to your DD. When Dan and Em first bought their own house he would come home every night for a brew before he went to pick Em up from work. He was almost in tears when he found out he had to pay things like Community charges
