Hi, I'm new here and am finding it very hard to cope since my son died. I put him to bed in the early hours of the 4th June and woke up just before 6am to find he had died.
I just miss him so much and spend every minute of every day thinking of him yet all around me life goes on as normal and I find this really hard.

Has anyone here gone through this? how did you cope?

I am so sorry for your loss.

We are at my Neices babys sons funeral on Friday, he was 5 months old.

I do not know how to help you cope, but wanted to express my deepest sympathy

triplets · 01/07/2008 22:21

Hello........I am so very very sorry, I know the pain you are going through, and the tears you will be crying. I lost my son when he was 14, it is the worst experience you can ever go through as a mother. I got lots of support through The Compassionate Friends, they have a website etc. Indeed one of the lovely mums I met through TCF is on Mumsnet with me now. Please cat me if you need someone to listen xxx

I'm so sorry for your loss. Have you seen the sunflower thread for bereaved mums? Their is a lady there - Hazygirl I think her name is - who lost her grandson to SIDS. They are all wonderful people who I know will understand where you are at. I'm so sorry.

NorthernLurker · 01/07/2008 22:23

X posted with Lissie - that's the thread I meant.
