My toddler died today

My baby died today. I found him in his cot this morning. He was completely well yesterday and has no health problems. They are completing a post mortem today.
I don’t know what to do. Why would a healthy child just die? I have a 4 year old and don’t know how to handle it with him. Any advice welcome, I’m obviously a mixture of completely numb and a mess.

Keep talking, accept help from anywhere you can, and be aware that some people may not know what to say around you so it's not that they don't care, they just don't know how to react.

I hope you get the answers you need.

You’re going to need support in real life. Not just today or the following couple of weeks.
May I suggest in a few days you find a support group where mums and dads have been through something similar.
We can all tell you how sorry we are for you, your four yr old and partner? But you’re going to need support and understanding from different people who have shared a similar tragedy.
I imagine one minute, your heart will be on the floor. The next you’ll be angry, the next just empty disbelief. Don’t do this by yourself. Lean on people. Not everyone will know how to help you, so don’t be afraid to say.

Oh god, I'm so sorry. I don't really know what to say, I can't even imagine what uou are going through. I keep writing and deleting sentences as everything sounds so trite...you are in my thoughts and I am so sorry you are going through this x
