I tried everything to save him. He was 27.

I don't know how I am going to get through this.

I know this is a very old thread but I lost my son just 2 months ago and was looking for comfort. Just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss and although I am at the very beginning of what I know is a terribly sad journey that none of us should have to make, this thread has helped me see how supportive people are and so has helped me understand that there is kindness in the world even if it seems very dark at the moment

@bereavedandsad
I am so sorry for your loss. It is such early days for you. I am 8 years on now. I still cry every day, but I pick myself up and carry on. I don't know how we do it, but there is no choice. For me it was needing to be here for my other children that forced me to keep going. They are doing better now and are living their lives. I feel their lives would be very different if their big brother was still here, but loss changes everyone and everything.
I hope you have support around you. Flowers
You are very welcome to stay on this thread, however, I found starting my own thread brought so much kindness and support, it is worth doing if you haven't already.
