It sounds very difficult and i can identify with what you are saying about just when you had sorted yourself out i think the same about mum i caused her so much worry in the years before her death - dropped out of college, got pregnant ( didnt tell anyone until 6 months) she was there when ds was born and then helped me literally all the time with him. I then got myself sorted met dp moved in together and was straight, looking after her and generally learning to be an adult and then she was gone. it is so very bloody hard seeing the dc and knowing how she would love to be a part of their lives. I am glad to see that you carry on and im sure he would be too, in fact he would expect it im sure! your right though there is an air of sadness about the major events that im not sure people who havent been through it understand. hope you are doing okay tonight.

I've been in a funny mood all summer sm, dont know what's wrong with me

I feel I'm turning into a really bitter person and I dont like it, but everyone I know seems to be doing great and I feel I'm just dragging myself along, waiting for things to improve, and they never do.

and the weather here is bloody awful,, its rained for a month.

I can relate to that ssd.
I think it's the barometric pressure.
I feel ill with it.
I went for a job interview today! Only 8 hours per week :) but it's something.

I've just pm'd you to ask how it went badvoc!! great minds eh Grin

I went school clothes shopping yesterday. Every effin queue had a granny and a teenager in front of me, getting school stuff together. I honestly could have wept. I'm not joking, every queue I was in. Then when I came home a woman nearly drives into me, shes the mother of a neighbour of mine (who is friggin older than me), she visits her 50 something daughter every night to help cook dinner, and every time I turn the corner she nearly drives into me, doesnt matter what time it is shes always there. What is it with all these mothers my age with mothers still running after them> I swear someone up there is having a good laugh at my expense. I could give you a million examples of this but it would out me. Its driving me bananas.

That sounds tough ssd.
I know what you mean though...I seem to see grandads with their gcs everywhere ATM!
I love that my DC have a good relationship with fil but it's hard. Dad would have loved to watch ds1 playing football and to draw with ds2.
Mum is far too busy worrying about herself and my brother and his family (aka golden boy) to worry much about us!

i suppose they were all there before we just didnt notice them , or thats what i like to think anyway or it gets too depressing.

hope you have some joy on the job front soon ssd and b i hope it goes the way you want. Im at a bit of a cross roads with it all at the minute need to make some major decisions!

ds has not been out all day today we have just mooched about at home so he is burning off excess energy by jumping all over the couch and making a fort...

I'm sorry you are all feeling so down today, what would be good would be that we all lived close enough to meet up in a pub ! I'm sure we would all cheer up for a bit then ( 2 drinks and I'm anyone's !! )
Or I could have you all round for a cuppa, in fact I could have my house as a drop in place then you could all come round when you wanted too !!
I bope you will all have a much better day tomorrow Flowers for you all x

I don't get any peace anyhow SM , this seems to be the house that everyone's comes to ! Some even make their own cup of tea !!! Not often but sometimes . You would all be very welcome and you wouldn't have to make an apt , everyone just comes when they want to.
