tbh i dont know what to say - i never expected to post a thread in this section of mn :(

I didnt expect to be a widow at 37 :(

he was severely depressed, and although had some very good days, he also had very bad days and for whatever reason he felt he couldnt carry on and took his own life on Saturday 16th april :(

i know its early days, but i cry every day, silly things set me off, like yesterday changing the duvet cover - it was hubbys's job to do that and i had to do it for the first time

its got to get easier hasnt it? :(

Hope you had a lovely day in Windsor yesterday Blondes, we did a walk around there years ago called the three castles path, Windsor to Winchester. We used to end up in the pub!

It's crap that these companies will only do something if they get a massive argument Sad your dad is brill.

Take care xx hope also you got some sleep

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/06/2011 22:43

lovely day out thank you, plus nice meal in evening

also had a wonderful day today seeing aunty p

tho :( as should be in sun now in Tunisa with dh, and obv not :(

and doubtful that i will see 50% of holiday cost as clearly states in the very tiny small print terms that it doesnt pay out for suicide :(

RatherBeOnThePiste · 05/06/2011 23:11

B, there is nothing I could wish for more for you right now, than that you were in Tunisia. Xx

And bastard holiday company. Should it matter how he died? I think not.

Your Aunty P sounds a fabulous woman. Really glad you had a good day with her today.

Hope you sleep well x

GettinTrimmer · 06/06/2011 10:01

What have you got planned for today Blondes? Are you working?

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/06/2011 11:09

Yes I went back to work - no point taking 2 weeks off work to sit at home alone :(

Half day today as swapped today for thur as mb needs to be in London

Have all the animals out at farm and zoo and playing on floor of playroom

With woofa sitting at door as knows he's not allowed in here

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 06/06/2011 17:08

That poor poor woofa - did he look like this

Any outrageous behaviour recently??!!
< I'm talking the dog here Grin >

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/06/2011 18:20

lol, he did a bit - i feel guilt with him as has gorgeous brown, melt in the mouth eyes

the dc i look after all have blue and isnt the same Grin

the dog gets away with murder, compared to the children being told off

have spent the last 3 hours trying to sort out dh tax return and not even 1/2way through yet Hmm

i love mark dearly, but god im cursing him - hes crap at paperwork/filling in diary/sorting out expenses etc Angry

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 06/06/2011 18:52

Gawd - big arse re the tax return, you'll just have to keep chipping away at it. Sigh. When is the deadline?

I don't know why the 'tasteful pink straw' except it conjures up a happy image in my mind Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/06/2011 19:09

deadline isnt till 31 oct but its something that needs to be done, hence why im doing it

fab i have typed up a letter with your words and sent to the pension people - will await their response - thanks :)

still waiting for simply business to cough up remainder of dh insurance refund ......

think im gonna get daddy blondes write to richard branson - yes it says in tiny weeny writing that insurance doesnt pay out for suicide, but worth a shot

if axa pay out thousands on my mortgage, surely virgin can cough up £1k

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 06/06/2011 19:18

Definitely worth writing to Branson
and good luck with the rest of the tax return.. [sigh]

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/06/2011 19:22

'sighs' and gulps gin

gonna leave it now for tonight and do rest tom/weekend

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 06/06/2011 21:06

Blondes good idea to get daddy to write to Richard Branson, and also some negative publicity, copy to papers and as many people as he can think of.

hope pisty's gin gets you through tax return!

TheOriginalFAB · 06/06/2011 21:19

Hope my letter works.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 06/06/2011 22:17

Blondes my lovely..,. you might like to have a look over here if you haven't already xx
I'm going to post this on another thread, I want you to see it. Ignore me if you have already! lol

GettinTrimmer · 08/06/2011 09:53

Blondes how is tax return going?

Hope you are getting a bit more sleep, it will sort itself out xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/06/2011 13:40

i saw your other link piste thanks

tax taking forever, part of me thinks fuck it, just pay the accountant, but dh is already at a loss this year so wont pay any tax, so think whats the point of forking out another £400+

and to top it off, just having a bad day today - in tears lots :(

OP posts:
GettinTrimmer · 08/06/2011 14:20

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/06/2011 14:12

bad day yesterday - really bad day tbh but that means today has got to be better :)

and it is :)

FINALLY got the money from sandander from dh isa and business account - though daddy blondes is still going for compensation and will see what their next offer will be ......

OP posts:
TheOriginalFAB · 09/06/2011 20:15

Hope the rest of your day was okay, Blondes.

GettinTrimmer · 09/06/2011 20:23

It's a relief that is sorted for now Blondes, that's one less thing, good luck with compensation.

Glad today is better for you, pisty's cold gin is waiting!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/06/2011 14:22

Really hope that you've had a good day today...
And really good news that you've finallygot the money from sandander. They're still twats though. For sure..

And I'm glad that Super Dad is still fighting your cause, it's the principle. It is unforgivable that they think they can sling you £25, and that makes their actions acceptable. I think not. Makes me so cross for you lovely B Angry

Am going to scratch around for some lunch now - really got the munchies bad-er-ly!

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/06/2011 08:33

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/06/2011 08:50
