A new haven for us all to say exactly what is in our heart or on our minds knowing that everyone understands and wont judge

Just marking myself as "here" on the new thread. Thanks for starting FM - beautiful title.

Minione · 28/07/2010 20:17

Lovely title FM, I think it sums up all our babies and children so well.

Thanks Shabs, I agree about being honest I just don't think I could say the words at the time.

Just received an anniversary card from one of DH's workmates. We're friends with her but not close. She wrote the most beautiful letter along with the card, it was so heartfelt and sincere, it made me cry but I just thought how kind of her. She doesn't have children herself but she was more thoughtful than some friends with kids who I thought could put themselves in our position more easily iykwim. It was also nice to know people are still thinking of us and Malachy as everyone seems to have moved on.

Not posted for a while sorry!
I found this quote and thought it suitable.......
can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength." - Christopher Reeves

Thanks Lavandes!!! My copy and paste was playing up! I have had a quiet week this week here in Suffolk as Wilf and his best friend have gone camping near Thetford with some other special needs children all organised by a local group!Ive been thinking of Jack a lot again (more than normal) He would have been going into his last school year in September!

lavandes · 29/07/2010 07:54

lottie sending hugs. You have had so much to bear over the years, it must have been so difficult for you. Hope Wilf has a great time and you can recharge your batteries. Reading how all you ladies have coped gives me hope for the future. xx

morning

I've been a bit low lately but I'm a bit brighter today.

Nice to see you lottie.. I've been wondering about you and Wilf.

Minione .. its lovely when someone unexpectedly remembers your child isnt..restores your faith in humanity for a little while

Sassy the feelings of guilt are unfortunately normal too... but please dont let them take you over. Guilt is a terrible emotion that can really drag you down.
Like you say you did everything you could for Catherine- everyone including Catherine knows this

Thanks for such a lovely titles thread FM.

Minione - I understand that the NHS is a huge machine blah blah, but it's just so insenstive to have your appointment on that date. Call/write to them a change the date. The day is going to be hard enough for you anyway, nevermind having to attend the pm.

lavandes - I am very that you saw all of those bands with Richard. What a great son

Am so glad you found the prints Dee, I remember you mentioning that they were lost not that long ago.

It would/will?? be Cole's 4th birthday tomorrow and this time 4 years ago I was going into labour. I feel strangely calm today. I hope that doesn't mean it's the calm before the storm?

xxx
