Opinions/ middle names for Rogue

I have been looking for names for a little while. I want something unusual thats not going to crop up everywhere and Rogue is the only name ive really fallen in love with! I would use it for either a boy or a girl. Middle name for a boy would be John after a family member, but im worried Rogue John sounds a bit like a dodgy curry! Middle names for a girl would either be Evangeline, joan or Elizabeth. Does anyone have any opinions/suggestions/alternatives? (No Rogans or logans please!)

MikeUniformMike · 28/01/2018 19:56

Builder, Trader, Nation?

toffee1000 · 28/01/2018 19:57

Don’t call your child Rogue. Just don’t.

austenozzy · 28/01/2018 19:57

Don’t do that to your kid. It will be a lifetime of piss taking.

84CharingCrossRoad · 28/01/2018 19:58

Villain???

Ummmmgogo · 28/01/2018 19:58

do you mean rogue as in baddie or rouge as in red in French?

MedicinalGin · 28/01/2018 19:58

Um, Rogue? Are you sure this is the only name you like out of all the names? It’s just that, I’m not sure it’s actually a name and it has quite negative connotations.

jedishelly1 · 28/01/2018 19:58

MaryPoppinsStoleMyHandbag · 28/01/2018 19:58

Rogue Operator

blueskyinmarch · 28/01/2018 19:59

Rogue? That is a batshit name. Don't do it.

sanityisamyth · 28/01/2018 19:59

Seriously?

LostInLeics · 28/01/2018 19:59

I'm assuming this is a joke thread? You cannot actually be seriously considering calling a child this?

MedicinalGin · 28/01/2018 19:59

If you like one syllable names, what about Vogue or Vaughan/Vaughn?

84CharingCrossRoad · 28/01/2018 19:59

Seriously though as others have said don't do it.
Why give your child a name with a connection to bad/illegal behaviour.....???

greendale17 · 28/01/2018 20:00

This has to be a joke. Who in their right mind would call their child Rogue?

Theimpossiblegirl · 28/01/2018 20:00

I have never made a negative comment on the baby names thread before, but please don't call your child Rogue.
There must be other X-men or Star Wars type names to use as inspiration, names that won't lead to a life-time of judgement.

toffee1000 · 28/01/2018 20:01

Hopefully this is a joke thread. Particularly as they’ve suggested such normal names for middle names.

RitaConnors · 28/01/2018 20:02

Don’t registrars intervene when someone tries to call their baby something that would detriment their life?

Robyn578 · 28/01/2018 20:02

Wow. Yes, Rogue. I was looking through unique names in a book i have got, and that was in there. Im sure there are worse names, can anyone suggest an alternative?

Couchpotato3 · 28/01/2018 20:02

If you like the 'name' that much, surely you can use it as a nickname or shortening for something else, but I'm not even sure you will be allowed to use that word as a name - certainly in the UK, the registrar is allowed to refuse unsuitable words, and I think you would be on severely dodgy ground with this one!

Scabbersley · 28/01/2018 20:03

Rogue

Robyn578 · 28/01/2018 20:03

Vogue is a nice female alternative, but im not so keen on vaughan.
