Hi all,

My little boy arrived yesterday... He is an Easter Baby! Easter Wink

We are so stuck for names - our styles are way too different.

Lincoln? (not saying he was dubious)

Undercooked · 28/03/2016 15:36

Lovely baby! Your names are much nicer.

Names that might be inbetween:
Kit (Christopher on birth certificate)
Orson
Barnaby
Jude
Maxim
Grayson
Gus
Frankie

Undercooked · 28/03/2016 15:37

jaffajiffy · 28/03/2016 15:52

Ethan - Alvin
Henry - Hendrix
Isaac -
Joseph -Joel
Kieran -

twirlypoo · 28/03/2016 16:03

He is just gorgeous! That hair

Raffety?

Different but nice! Your list is fab by the way :)

Undercooked · 28/03/2016 16:03

What about Edward nn Ned?

GreenLounger · 28/03/2016 16:06

What do you think on Griffin? He suggested it

Thanks for all suggestions, I will run past him!

John, nickname Jack, is classier than Jack as a given name.

jaxon, just no. No.

Rowan nice but baby doesn't look like a Rowan. He looks like Dominic. Could call Dom or Nick for short.

Jesus? Christian? Christopher?

Joseph, nickname Joe.

Ash isn't too bad. Ashok. Asher. Ashley. not just Ash. Your husband seems to be into nicknames. Think of when the kid is grown up and in a profession or occupation.

Undercooked · 28/03/2016 16:09

Griffin is better than some of his other names bug still not as nice as your list

KeyboardMum · 28/03/2016 16:10

Congrats to you and your little Easter bunny ;) Your list is great, your OH's is terrible (in my opinion) apart from Ashley. I personally love Joe, Alex and Dan :P

WantFriesWithThat · 28/03/2016 16:10

My son's school crest has a Griffin on it so wouldn't be my choice. However your son is absolutely gorgeous! ! For him I was thinking
Noah
Nathan
Fraser

PunkAssMoFo · 28/03/2016 16:11

He's gorgeous.

Definitely prefer your list but possible compromises I would offer:

Deacon
Austin
Dexter
Asher
Zane
Jasper
Felix
Jonas
Harris/ Harrison
Spencer
Rafferty

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/03/2016 16:12

Daniel (yours) Dante (his) - one of those nn Dan.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/03/2016 16:14

Although I love Saxon!

GreenLounger · 28/03/2016 16:17

Thanks all for the suggestions.

I agree, I don't love it. I love my list Sad I gave him 25 at the start and said he can pick the one! He didn't like any SadSadSad a few that you have mentioned were on my original list! Why is his choices so odd?

YourLeftElbow · 28/03/2016 16:42

He is so beautiful! Congratulations.

Griffin makes me think of Nick Griffin, who was, until recently, the big boss of the BNP. Your list is lovely, his is Shock And every time I read Jaxon, I think klaxon!
What about Bowie?

grumpysquash3 · 28/03/2016 16:43

My DC1 looked so much like your baby (now nearly 15, not little and adorable any more!). He had the same hair.

He is Alexander Joseph :)

PickleBot · 28/03/2016 16:48

How about you choose the first name and then he can choose as many oddball middle names as he likes? Presumably the baby also has his surname so tbh I'd say it's your call.

Fwiw I quite like Griffin. Nn Griff is cool.
