You can't compromise because none of his names are at all nice. I'm with you.
Benjamin is one of my all-time favourites. Any of his could work nicely as a second name or as a nickname.

As he likes Oak and Ash, how about Rowan?

Both whittle your lists down to 5 you don't HATE, and then go from there?

Nixon- Nicholas (both nicknames will become Nick/Nix)
Dante - Daniel = Dan
Alexander - Xander for short, fits with a lot of the 'x' names in his list?

Your list is lovely, btw.

FattyNinjaOwl · 28/03/2016 15:17

Aww congratulations! He's a cutie pie, look at all that hair! I like Alex and Nathan, but I would as I have those Grin

NameAgeLocation · 28/03/2016 15:18

Oh he's just precious.

GreenLounger · 28/03/2016 15:19

I know! The hair shocked is too!

I actually never noticed the Dan thing for Dante and Daniel! Why won't he just have Daniel, NN Dan? ConfusedSad

Rowan is nice, but my friend has a little girl Rowan... I'll ask him still, as it could work!

Call him Clark Grin

Thewolfsjustapuppy · 28/03/2016 15:22

From his list I like Gideon, unfortunately it does remind me of bibles Grin how about Cillian?
Meeting in the middle with tastes as divergent as this is not going to be easy.
He is Gorgous though. Congratulations

starry0ne · 28/03/2016 15:23

I like your list... I would be thinking of the bible names such as joesph, benjamin...due to date...

MrsPresley · 28/03/2016 15:24

Well there's only one name worth having there Grin Grin

ClashCityRocker · 28/03/2016 15:24

Nixon?!?!

He would call that lovely little bundle....Nixon?!?!

I love Rowan.

I don't mind Ash from his list but like most of your list.

NoSquirrels · 28/03/2016 15:24

Oh, so cute! Congrats Grin

Asher? I know a lovely little Asher (Ash for short) - it means "happy/blessed"

GreenLounger · 28/03/2016 15:24

He just suggested Jaxon Hmm it's better, it really is, but meh Confused I then said Jack and he was a bit hmm about it, but not a definite no, so yay!!! I know lots of Jacks though Sad

OP posts:
Hulababy · 28/03/2016 15:25

He is lovely :)

I much prefer your list! His - hmm, not so much! There are no names on his list I would have been prepared to use, but lots on yours.

Hulababy · 28/03/2016 15:25

Jack is far better than Jaxon.

FattyNinjaOwl · 28/03/2016 15:25

I like bananas suggestion Grin

FattyNinjaOwl · 28/03/2016 15:27

You could always call him zombie Jesus with him being an Easter baby Grin

ClashCityRocker · 28/03/2016 15:27

I prefer Jaxon spelt Jackson. Putting X's in places is just too 'trying to give my baby a cool name' for me.

Mumsywumsywoo · 28/03/2016 15:28

I like Ash

ClashCityRocker · 28/03/2016 15:29

Zachary? I know it's on your list but j think it's the on that fits in most with his.

NoSquirrels · 28/03/2016 15:29

If you must have the sound of Jaxon, please spell it Jackson at least.

You DP really really likes famous white American dead guys, it seems! (Elvis, Nixon, Clinton, Carson...)

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 28/03/2016 15:29

Ohhh he's adorable and I love his babygro Star

I do prefer your list, by a wide margin.

What about Bennett?

RavioliOnToast · 28/03/2016 15:31

LOOK AT THAT HAIR!!

He is beautiful OP!

ClashCityRocker · 28/03/2016 15:32

Has he got a thing for dubious American presidents Grin

Congratulations anyway op Flowers

NoSquirrels · 28/03/2016 15:33
