Just that really. I have a shortlist but would rather not go for anything that's overly popular. So instead of me telling you the names, could you say what names you hear a lot?! Smile

My daughter is called Amelia, after she was born few months later the most popular names list came out and hers was at the top. School will be fun when she starts in September.

Ella, Emily, Isobel (and variants) and Isla.

nickelbarapasaurus · 21/04/2015 21:40

grace seems to be everywhere, and various spellings of isabelle

abigail (abbie) seems to be popular too

GoldenBoots · 21/04/2015 21:40

Lily. Amelia.

Browniebear, my DD is Isla and when we named her it was hardly heard of, and im yet to meet another one - but its in the top 5 so is obviously very 'common' nowadays!

BackforGood · 21/04/2015 21:40

I work in Nurseries (just to give you an age range)

Isobel / Isabelle / Bella / Isabella seems to be the most popular.
Other than that I don't get that many repeats. We have lots of names from all sorts of different cultures, and also lots of completely ridiculous made up names too, but as an overall picture, that means not too many really common ones.

AuntieStella · 21/04/2015 21:40

Sophie and Evie (and variants of both)

Tanfastic · 21/04/2015 21:41

Evie, Eva, Holly, Ella, Emily, Lucy, Grace, Isabella.
