New Year & a New thread - post what you hope to start/finish this week!

I have bought lots of fabby gemstones & I want to try & make some different types of jewellery, different ways of stringing etc.

DH also bought me some rainbow fluorite & I want to make myself a necklace & bracelet, although am still pondering what style I fancy!

(& my bog is sadly neglected, I must try harder!)

we had a day out in Lincoln today.. freeking freezing but lovely walk round and coffees... more later or in am.. off to make dinner...

I won a print of an illustration that she is going to design using my idea of a tag. Mine was 'just one more minute', because it's what DD says all the time. I'm really excited!!!

Am a bit alarmed that some of you have already got your swaps, am still making mine, (went to Loop today to pick up some more supplies). Although am midway through the actual making and it's all going swimmingly.....so far.

Its OK ranting, Im only half-way through as well. I had this great idea that I would redecorate the house this halfterm, but all Ive done so far is paint the woodwork in the bathroom, and its run.

In between that and trying to entertain DD, Im trying to do a bit of crafting!

When are they supposed to be done by? I was under the impression that it was mid March

Half term as well Fusby! You'll be lucky to get that painting done. Ours was last week, was glad to push them out of the door on Monday.

Meri, I've worn my bracelet all day. My friend was very envious when she saw it
I have actually made you a new one
My first was an easter egg made of clay, dd then moulded it to her own liking when I turned my back and then I put Amethyst, Aquamarine and Peridot chips all over it.
Sadly when it dried they all started to fall off and I dread to think what state it would have reached you in.

RH - yours is half done, what will happen is I will appear to be really organised, then March will come and I'll panic and you'll get it mid to late march, so don't stress!!!
The send off date is March 10th (which, incidently, folks, is the day after my birthday - when I shall be 18 yrs old. Again. Fabulous)

i've spent the last couple of evenings playing around with ideas from this site have learnt loads about how to change the layout of a basic blogger template

that looks really interesting - DH was just saying today how my blog looks too boring!!!

i didn't understand any of that blog buster stuff

most of the changes are actually fairly easy, although it has taken a few goes for me to get my head round it all, i kept trying to separate the background colour on mine last night and could not get it to work, but tonight have managed it. still not happy with the colours, i think i fancy a complete blog colour change

vv, i reckon stuff like this is made to look scary so people think they need to pay someone to do a web site for them, but its like learning to read, once it clicks, it all makes sense.

although my eyes are sore from staring at the computer so long

I search of my mojo I have just ordered some new stamps to play with! Still undecided whether or ot to bother with the craft fair this Saturday or leave it until the next one in March!

have done two posts.. one yesterday about our frozen adventure to Lincoln and one this morning quick about my first attept at making a pair of earrings.. the pic is very crappy I'll redo it if the sun ever comes out.. the earrings arent too bad.. the bending of the metal pins around as a bit rough.. it should get better with practice..

Meri, the earrings arent that hard are they. I think you should photograph them with the necklace and bracelet to encourage people to buy them as a set
