We were having a cuddle that turned into a bit of a quickie. Ds was playing in his room and occasionally sticking his head around the door but generally not paying much attention to us.

Afterwards I turned around and came face to face with ds sitting on our bed, reading a book and showing me a picture.

He didn't seem at all bothered.
Thoughts?

There are some awful photos on that site! Bit that apparently you can't have babies just because you look a bit unusual though. And wtf is taking the photos of couples getting it on?

leamac · 27/03/2010 10:17

you were not aware your child was their, you left him in his room and never realised he had went from one room to another, he was unsupervised while you were having a quickie, not good at all, q

AnyFucker · 27/03/2010 10:51

I can see the humour in that site, but the last photograph is in very poor taste with the recent news about some babyslings being recalled because babies have died of suffocation in them.

SpringHeeledJack our gutters really do need clearing. I feel I need to take lessons from your grandma...

All of that sounds like innuendo. It Isn't. Our gutters are shocking.

So I followed the link.

some of it is very funny.

confuddledDOTcom · 29/03/2010 01:49

AnyFucker I disagree. It's a particular type of sling that has been recalled and the mei-tai is safe. The flap is to keep the baby's head supported whilst s/he is asleep.

AnyFucker · 29/03/2010 08:31

still in poor taste, IMO, confuddled

but hey-ho, I am not losing any sleep over it

confuddledDOTcom · 29/03/2010 09:31

I suppose so, it's not that recent though so probably didn't know about the recall. I'm just a little defensive about slings at the moment.

If you click "next" at the bottom of that site there are more pages.

Must say I feel quite tearful after watching the video of the little boy whose family give him an "x-box" which is actually a box containing a few clothes, just to watch his joy turn to sadness so they can laugh at him/film him - goes on for over 2 minutes during which they ask him to cry to the camera and he just sits there full of humiliation and defeat..

Yeah great site
