AIBU to list retailers that routinely use Evri for deliveries so we can avoid them?

I am utterly sick of how Evri deliveries are so incredibly bad. I have had parcels go missing, non deliveries, poor communication etc. It is with almost everything that they seem to try and deliver. I don't live anywhere remote or hard to access. I have decided to not shop online with retailers that routinely use Evri to deliver.

AIBU to suggest that we use this thread to list stores that use Evri to deliver online orders so Mumsnetters can decide whether to shop there or not.

No idea but I’ve never had an issue with Evri. I’ve had 2 issues in the last 2 years and it’s with inpost.
I should add that inpost resolved both issues quickly so all good

I know everyone slags them off but the woman who does the bulk of our Evri deliveries is a lovely woman. Really friendly and helpful, and knows if we don't answer the door on a sunny day we're usually in the garden so she comes around the back.

I think it should be the law that before you place and pay for any order where it is delivered to your house, you are told who the parcel carrier is, and have to tick a box in acknowledgment.

I bet many companies would offer a choice of carrier as a result.

No issue with Evri where I live so I won’t be boycotting them. In fact I’d argue they’re the best delivery company around here.

Evri are really good where I live.

However Royal Mail have lost the plot around here. Literally no idea what they’re up to.

Evri are brilliant where I live too! Royal Mail are a bit crap and Yodel are absolutely dire.

That is why I suggest transparency and choice- a company varies by area.

Royal Mail are shit in my area, Evri is actually reliable. I wish companies would tell me who they used before I paid for my order

Evri are brilliant here! Royal Mail however, is diabolical.

I’ve never had problems with them… we have a great guy who delivers in a tiny car rammed with parcels!

I've found evri very hit and miss. Sometimes the parcel is handed to myself at the front door. Other time's its left under my access ramp or on another street altogether!!
So I would like to add eBay and Lovehoney to the list.
My sex toy is still stuck behind someone's gutter!!!

Evri is awful where I live. I avoid as much as possible. How can they repeatedly lose items, or dump them at the wrong address. Our estate Facebook page has posts constantly asking if anyone recognises a particular back door. Absolute idiot of a company.

Evri are fine round here.

I have never had any problems with Evri - and I have a lot of deliveries from them. The courier always arrives on time and leaves the parcel according to my instructions.

I think a delivery service is only as good as the people who carry out the deliveries. My local Evri person is very reliable - and so was the previous one, and the one before that. I guess I'm lucky.

The only delivery services I've ever had problems with are DPD and Royal Mail.

My Evri delivery driver is fantastic! I’m often leaving 5 stars! 🌟

Dunelm.. just had to rescue two parcels from a neighboring village.

Evri are also fab in my area. It's always one of two guys and they are both excellent - on first name terms with them both and they are super friendly/extra helpful. For example if I'm out when they deliver but they see me walking through the village (I'm often out with the dog) as they're leaving they stop to let me know they've left a parcel for me round the back.

Kurt Geiger, I didn't get my delivery of two handbags, or rather they wasn't in my bin. I'd never put my bin as a safe place and didn't get an email. It didn't matter that two of the drivers, in my area, were both prosecuted for theft, I am two handbags down.
DHL don't pull their drivers, over non delivery etc, so it very much depends on the driver.

Can't fault my Evri driver. Lovely man and 100% reliable
