An advert pops up on my feed from M&S for crotchless thongs. Have I actually fallen asleep and am dreaming ?! WTAF is M&S thinking?!! They appear to be stocking Anne Summers-talk about rebrand of underwear dept!

Wearing things to feel sexy is desperate now?

It’s not just a crotchless thong it’s an M&S crotchless thong!

As I said: each to their own. Dressing yourself up to look like a sex doll looks desperate to me but I understand some people must enjoy doing it.

Saying it’s desperate and then saying each to their own is a dig then following it up with an insincere statement.

I tried wearing thongs back in my student days long ago....not for me. It just felt uncomfortable.

There’s a gaping hole in their marketing strategy I think.

I saw the ad.

It was weird as they were featured, then the next pictures were regular M&S clothes like a modest office wear outfit and a casual weekend outfit.

I'm another big comfy knickers fan so no idea why they were shown to me.

To give M and S their due, the advert does suggest they are 'adjustable' to ensure a good fit. Bit of practicality in there.

Think again @Pineapplesonpizza I'm currently languishing in an M&S short, cotton strappy chemise that I had lots of sexy fun in last night (before it was torn off in a fit of passion obs 😉).

M&S has had stuff like this for ages though alongside the granny pants! And I love all the judgemental comments 🙄 I’m probably past my crotchless pants era but I did have some when DH and I first got together and yes we did have lots of fun with them!

Oh haven't you seen? It's the Blue Harbour corduroy posing pouch. Apparently, they've sold out in the Home Counties.

They’re not an M&S product. They’re just one of the many products by other brands that M&S sells online. They don’t, as far as I know, sell them in store.
