Before anyone says "maybe she just wants to keep her entire wedding - including dress - private"...

1. She's made her whole career about her personal life

2. Her fans are often young girls who idolise her. (I have 2 nieces age 10 and 12 who are really disappointed they have seen nothing).

3. Said fans have made her a billionaire and essentially therefore paid for the huge wedding!

4. It's been over 2 weeks since said wedding so plenty of time for her to have relaxed afterwards and then selected a single sodding photo to release

5. It's not like she needs to sell the photos for money

I think it's quite mean of her tbh. It would be less bad if she TOLD these young fans either "you will see the dress in my forthcoming documentary" or "I've decided to keep it private". At lease then they would know.

It reminds me of a thread ages ago where someone felt they were entitled to more public sightings of Princess Charlotte, her specifically, not her brothers…. A woman whose wedding you were not invited to does not owe you a pic of her dress…and I’m a massive TS fan and you say to the fictitious seeming 10 year old that TS is entitled to keep some things private

I think it's no bad thing for kids to learn that they won't get everything they want and that their idols don't/don't have to dance to their tune.
I also think the idea of girls fetishising weddings to the degree that you talk about is a bit unhealthy, and certainly not universal. At ten I wasn't fascinated/obsessed with weddings and wedding dresses; I was climbing trees, tramping through muddy brooks, collecting tadpoles, drawing horses and watching Tiswas (yes I'm old).

Sure. Catherine Middleton, Victoria Beckham, even Becca bloom 😂 seeing the dress is one of the most important parts of the wedding for those not getting married. Otherwise vogue weddings etc wouldn’t exist

I'm sure the fans will cope! It takes time to Photoshop / retouch the images (then approve them as she's on honeymoon) to create the curated image of perfection she wants to portray. The photos will probably be released when she has a new product to sell.

Maybe you need to be a little less invested in the lives of people you don’t know. It’s really weird to be complaining about this.

I would imagine she is on her honeymoon and enjoying 1:1 time with her husband. In a world where they are in a glare of publicity why shouldn’t they have a few weeks peace.

Taylor Swift has almost infinite resources to protect her privacy and she uses them to her advantage so that she is only seen when she wishes to be seen. Hence, the masses believing that she is on honeymoon right now despite the evidence that Travis and Taylor are not even in the same state.

The amount of energy you put into threads about someone you don't like says a lot about you. Looking forward to a divorce, of someone you've never met, has never done anything to you, who has only just got married, says more. None of it is good.

The level of hatred and fury her success generates is fascinating.

As a huge Swiftie (as if my user name doesn’t give it away!!) I am also desperate to see photos of her big day. But in no way do I feel entitled to see them or do I think she owes it to her fans.

I’ve been to her shows, I buy her records etc etc but this does not mean I ‘made her rich’ and now she has to reveal parts of her private life to me!!

I love Taylor and I think her and Travis are gorgeous together and will be very happy. Her releasing a photo or not will not change my opinion of her. In fact I think it’s great they kept it private and there’s nothing my AI out there!!!
