I'm half Scottish (dad) so always support both. In the past I'd probably want Scotland to win if it was them against England to be honest. Although now because of the Argentina support I'm going off supporting Scotland.

I desperately want England to win this one more than against any other team.

You can't tell people who to support. And it won't make any difference either way.

I'm on a few FB groups for a holiday resort (mainland Spain) and the amount of people who posted asking where they could buy a Norway shirt was insane. The same has started with repeated posts asking "where can I buy an Argentina shirt?".

I get it's mainly banter but the sentiment is unpleasant and petty. I can't imagine hating another football team enough to want to spend my money supporting their opponents?

Just wear your Scotland shirt and be done with it? We'd all know someone wearing a Scotland shirt doesn't want England to win.

It’s not a new thing that Scots support Argentina. Lots of folk have done so for years.

In all other sports I am happy to usually support England, cricket as an example. Football it’s a hard no I am afraid. I am over sixty so that’s unlikely to change.

I’m English and would defo support Wales against someone else (except England!) I love Wales and I like to support an underdog. Without wishing to be rude, the Welsh team would be the underdog against most teams, I’d imagine.
