Harry Styles wembley visit hotel headache

Hotel for Harry Styles trip has cancelled our booking (due to building works allegedly)

Where can we stay at this point that's not mega money? Any places less touristy but on a tube line?

Hotels close-ish to tube stn only pls as travelling just myself & 2 teen DD. Don't want to be walking thru London late at night anywhere iffy.

Travelling down from NW if there's any other ideas for how to manage this trip now.

Ta

When are you going?

Teeheehee1579 · 25/06/2026 23:41

We always stay in the premier inn in Uxbridge for a Wembley concert. It’s on a tube line direct to Wembley (25 mins), hotel is right by the tube and you’re going the opposite way to central London at the end of the night so it’s blissfully quiet on the tube!

Namechangeforthisdilemma1 · 25/06/2026 23:43

Premier inn Hendon, or Uxbridge as pp says. Easy journeys.

Namechangeforthisdilemma1 · 25/06/2026 23:44

Watford isn’t bad either journey wise.

Newnamechchchchange · 25/06/2026 23:49

I've only travelled by tube on visits. What are buses like, do they run later, reliable?

The only Prem Inn in uxbridge looks at 15 mons walk from tube stn, I think there must be 2 in uxbridge

Rickmansworth has a nice Premier Inn, it's on the Met Line 8 stops from Wembley and the opposite way from the crowds travelling back into London. It is a 10min walk through a nice little town from the hotel to the station and it has a car park.

Newnamechchchchange · 25/06/2026 23:55

Where else does family rooms apart from travelodge, premier inn, holiday inn?

Does Euston train stn ever close if we just made our way there after the concert & camped in main stn until the first train back to NW?

Teeheehee1579 · 25/06/2026 23:59

Euston station does close after the last train and it’s also really not very nice late at night.

Missypuddingchops · 25/06/2026 23:59

I booked the premier inn Wembley for the weeknd...no tube or bus needed. Its a 9 minute walk to the stadium and theres a maccys there

ZestyLemonBiscuit · 25/06/2026 23:59

Echo the calls for Premier Inn Uxbridge.

Drawing a vent diagram of ‘not mega money’, ‘does family rooms’ and ‘close to Wembley’ then there aren’t many to choose from… and in my experience that’s the best.

That would be so bleak for so many reasons. I wouldn’t do that with two DD’s.

I know it’s Venn diagram stupid autocorrect before someone comes at me.

I stayed last week at the OYO Kilburn Arms with DD when we visited for Harry gig. 10 min walk from tube which is only 4 stops from Wembley. Busy enough at night to feel safe on return. Room was good, staff friendly. Worth checking for any availability.
Enjoy the gig!

Newnamechchchchange · 26/06/2026 00:05

No family rooms left here at the central uxbridge prem inn on the night we go

Only rooms at the one further out, Google says itson an industrial estate type place, don't fancy walking that v late sadly

Have you tried Youth Hostels? We’ve stayed in central London YHA accommodation for Wembley gigs before. They have a limited amount of private rooms.

SellFridges · 26/06/2026 00:08

I’ve done Uxbridge or Watford Premier Inn before after a Wembley gig. Both were busy trains back, and I got a cab from the station. I was solo and didn’t feel threatened at all. Otherwise, most central London options will be busy around public transport stops.

It really depends when you’re going. This Saturday there are four or five massive gigs on so hotels are absolutely jam packed in town. We’re going to Take That and Harry added after that and after BST so hotels were already tricky. If you’re going on a Wednesday evening it might be easier. Anything close by will be long sold out. We did get a room the night before Taylor but it was four figures and a long, long story.

Amersham is worth a look as well - at the end of the Met Line.

SellFridges · 26/06/2026 00:12

Sorry, one more suggestion. Friends did the Big Green Coach a couple of weeks ago, and it was slow home (to Birmingham) but fine and safe.

Prem Inn wembley sold out.

Travelodge wembley is available but £330!

Not many hotels do rooms for 3 ppl either so really feel limited.

Would the walk between tube & hotel be safe late at night? Never heard of the area.

Any feedback on travelling by london buses after wembley event?

That might open up where we could get to but buses obvs carry a lot less than tubes so I don't know if they would be difficult to get on to / even bigger huge queue waits / risk of service ending for the night before managing to board a bus
