Hotel for Harry Styles trip has cancelled our booking (due to building works allegedly)

Where can we stay at this point that's not mega money? Any places less touristy but on a tube line?

Hotels close-ish to tube stn only pls as travelling just myself & 2 teen DD. Don't want to be walking thru London late at night anywhere iffy.

Travelling down from NW if there's any other ideas for how to manage this trip now.

Ta

Just book a double room and squish in together or bring an air bed. Premier inns are self check in these days and nobody cares anyway.

Please do NOT do this.

Fire safety rules are here for a reason..

Also its not true noone cares plenty care.

shellyleppard · 26/06/2026 08:41

@Newnamechchchchange premier inn do a family room , i regularly room share with my teenage sons there. usually a double bed, sofa and a single

Heronwatcher · 26/06/2026 08:48

Watford and Rickmansworth would be fine even at night. Watford train station has a cab rank and you can get an uber at any time. Watford would be my shout as it’s on the train line from Wembley which should hopefully be a bit less busy, and it’s an easy journey back into Euston. You might not get somewhere right next to the station so late but anywhere within a 20 min walk will be fine, or you can jump in a cab.

Where else does family rooms apart from travelodge, premier inn, holiday inn?

Does Euston train stn ever close if we just made our way there after the concert & camped in main stn until the first train back to NW?

I wouldn't advise that. It's not very safe.

Biscoffpancake · 26/06/2026 08:59

Why does it have to be a walk from the station? You could get an Uber once you get off the tube to where you need to go

Itsanadventure · 26/06/2026 09:05

I’ve just done it and stayed at Watford, it’s was totally fine

Blackcountryexile · 26/06/2026 09:17

I've done Wembley stadium, from Wembley Park station to Premier Inn in Canning Town. It does take nearly an hour but you can see the hotel from the station exit. 40 minutes back to Euston on the tube.
I;ve also done Premier Inn Watfrod Central. It's a 6 minute walk from Watford High Street station. It didn't feel at all unsafe and there were several other people walking the same way.

hirsuteonHRT · 26/06/2026 09:21

We stayed at Hindes Hotel in Harrow on the Hill. We caught the tube (going away from London so loads of space) and then the bus from the busy station which felt very safe. Bus stop was outside the hotel. It is NOT In any sense a luxury hotel but it was useful for us. Good luck.

DaisyDooley · 26/06/2026 09:24

Instead of family rooms why don’t you book two double rooms at one of the many hotels that have been mentioned?

Elphamouche · 26/06/2026 09:36

we go the opposite way, and stay further out. Stay in Canary Wharf (usually the Hilton) for a Wembley gig, and Wembley for an O2 gig when the prices are silly close to the location.

Tubes are easy, never had an issue after a concert :)

SisSuffragette · 26/06/2026 09:43

Have a look at Beaconsfield or Gerrards Cross both on the same line and easy journey from Wembley.

It reads like it's one parent two children

ArabellaRockerfella · 26/06/2026 09:52

I would feel safe doing that walk and I bet there will be others going that way too.

CandiedPrincess · 26/06/2026 10:08

We're going by coach and back from the Midlands. Is that not an option?

Loveacadburyscreamegg · 26/06/2026 10:21

I drove and used justpark in Wembley last weekend - it was really easy and would deffo do again. You might not want to drive home afterwards but could get yourself to a cheaper premier inn/travelodge?

Aluna · 26/06/2026 10:39

Have you tried all the hotels around Wembley itself already?

Otherwise there’s a Holiday Inn near Finchley Road tube (Jubilee, Bakerloo)

You seem very worried about safety. I live in London which probably affects my views but my children and i generally find London pretty safe. Hold tight to your bag and your mobile phone but there are often lots of people around and, even if your children are younger teens, there are still 3 of you. Sorry you’ve got this stress ahead of the concert, though. Hope you find somewhere comfortable.

SevenKingsMustDie · 26/06/2026 13:05

We went on Tuesday and stayed at a Premier Inn at Paddington, as that’s where our GWR train gets in. Took 90 mins from stadium to my bed - dead easy!

This one has availability.

Would the walk between tube & hotel be safe late at night? Never heard of the area.

Rickmansworth is very safe and a nice town. It’s an easy drive from the motorway too. Great option.

Dahliasrule · 26/06/2026 13:09

DD and DGD are going to see Harry tonight. They are staying at the Premiere in in Stevenage. Not on tube line but overground, you need short journey on tube to get to the overground. Then they are getting a taxi from the station a it will e late. That’s where we stayed for The Who. ( Chose train line as on same line as h9me).

SpaceRaccoon · 26/06/2026 13:25

@Newnamechchchchange look at Premier Inn London Edgware - there are a couple of family rooms left.
You're about 15 mins walk from Canon Park underground which will take you direct to Wembley Park on the Jubilee Line.

VividDeer · 26/06/2026 13:29

See if premier inn does twin rooms. At late notice your best bet might be two. Family rooms always sell out.

Netcurtainnelly · 26/06/2026 13:29

All this worry for females, while the millionaire gets taken to a luxury hotel afterwards to chill out with no worries. It's quite worrying people are prepared to stress themselves out and walk the streets because of this. Think of your own safety and lives. He's not worrying about you.

🤣

He goes home. Might treat himself to a car mind you as he jogs to work.
