Hotel for Harry Styles trip has cancelled our booking (due to building works allegedly)

Where can we stay at this point that's not mega money? Any places less touristy but on a tube line?

Hotels close-ish to tube stn only pls as travelling just myself & 2 teen DD. Don't want to be walking thru London late at night anywhere iffy.

Travelling down from NW if there's any other ideas for how to manage this trip now.

I stayed last week at the OYO Kilburn Arms with DD when we visited for Harry gig. 10 min walk from tube which is only 4 stops from Wembley. Busy enough at night to feel safe on return. Room was good, staff friendly. Worth checking for any availability.
Enjoy the gig!

Convenient location.

I’d look to see if there is anything in West Hampstead near West End Lane.. One more stop on the tube and a lovely little place. Probably more expensive though.

This one has availability.

Would the walk between tube & hotel be safe late at night? Never heard of the area.

Yes. Rickmansworth is naice.

No family rooms left here at the central uxbridge prem inn on the night we go

Only rooms at the one further out, Google says itson an industrial estate type place, don't fancy walking that v late sadly

Can't you do this, but get an uber from the hotel to the station?

squeaver · 26/06/2026 13:56

Look at all the stops on the Metropolitan line in both directions and find a hotel near any of them.

They are putting on extra trains from Wembley Park because of the heat. The queue moves really quickly and Met line is speedy.

DO NOT go and hang around at Euston.

zigazigaaaing · 26/06/2026 14:20

Look at near Harrow on the hill tube or Rickmansworth. both very near to the concert on met line

Have a look at Beaconsfield or Gerrards Cross both on the same line and easy journey from Wembley.

Blimey - even deeper pockets needed here! Gerrards Cross is down the road from where I used to live in Chalfont St Peter, and is tres naice... Beaconsfield even more so. (Think multimillion pound properties, celebrities who live there etc).

I think it's not as easy to access either with regards to the Met line as both are on the Chiltern line train routes, which are fewer/more packed. But there's probably extra trains to cope, as PP say.

GrowAGarden · 26/06/2026 14:32

Watford is fine, always loads of people about. We're used to lost Harry Potter tourists so everyone's helpful at the station.
From Wat Junction there's the fast train into Euston in 20 mins and they are really regular, you can use contactless on it.
To Wembley it's easy on the Lioness and also quieter on the way back as you're against the flow and people head to the tube stations and don't think of the overground one.
There's been a huge block of flats built by the station recently, some are air b & b as I've directed a few lost people. Also lots of hotels near the station.

I volunteer at Wembley often and live in Watford so am probably biased on both counts.

stackhead · 26/06/2026 14:34

Premier Inn at Southwark, pretty much on top of the tube station and on the Jubilee line from Wembley.

ToniAndCalm · 26/06/2026 14:49

Op if you’re not yet sorted have a look around Marylebone tube/train station for hotels. We stayed here after Harry.
When leaving the concert, follow the queue to Chiltern Trains from Wembley (v easy to find). Direct to Marylebone. We were sitting on a train by 10.30 and back at the hotel by 10.45.

All this worry for females, while the millionaire gets taken to a luxury hotel afterwards to chill out with no worries. It's quite worrying people are prepared to stress themselves out and walk the streets because of this. Think of your own safety and lives. He's not worrying about you.

It’s Wembley not a flipping war zone.

We always stay in the premier inn in Uxbridge for a Wembley concert. It’s on a tube line direct to Wembley (25 mins), hotel is right by the tube and you’re going the opposite way to central London at the end of the night so it’s blissfully quiet on the tube!

That's good to know as I've just booked it for ds and me for Bruno Mars.

wheredidthetime · 26/06/2026 14:59

Haven't read all the thread. But Travel lodge finchley central. Bus 13 goes straight to finchley road tube about 35 mins then a few stops to Wembley. Or there is a travel lodge on the finchley road. About a 5 min walk to finchley road tube station

DoNotSitDownNextToMe · 26/06/2026 15:07

Savera Hotel in South Ruislip next to central line and Chiltern Line. You can easily walk or take a bus to Ruislip or Eastcote stations on the Metropolitan Line which will deliver you to Wembley Park.

TwinklesToes · 26/06/2026 15:10

Holiday Inn Watford Junction. Excellent hotel and very close to the tube/station

It’s Wembley not a flipping war zone.

doesn't need to be a war zone for women to feel unsafe walking alone at night. Just because Wembley is a major venue doesn't change the reality of the risks and anxiety many women face when navigating dark, busy, or unfamiliar streets after a late event.

How bloody selfish it is also for an artist to do 12 nights in one place making lots of people stay overnight and travel.

London isn't the only place in England.

He's performing in other places. And London is by far the biggest and best-connected city in the country.

I usually always stay in a hotel after concerts anyway, unless you happen to live very close to the venue you'll probably have to.

CheeseWisely · 26/06/2026 15:24

Adding to the choir that Rickmansworth is fine. Stop hand-wringing OP and just book a hotel!

HermioneWeasley · 26/06/2026 15:25

The Uxbridge premier inn not near the tube is a decent hotel. I’ve never had a problem getting an uber in Uxbridge (though not tried late at night)

Pibrea · 26/06/2026 15:27

We stayed in the Leonardo Watford when we went for Oasis, also from the north west. We drove down, quite an easy drive and there was cheap parking nearby, the hotel give you discount.

alexdgr8 · 26/06/2026 15:31

How about getting the 83 bus to from Golders green road where there are lots of small hotels/ guest houses.

There are regular 83 buses from Wembley park until 00.30hrs and then the night bus.

Ellsternell · 26/06/2026 15:42

Travel lodge at Euston. Tube from and to Euston Square or not far from King’s Cross either.

baguettefan · 26/06/2026 15:52

I'm going next week with 2 teen dd and we are staying at prem inn Southwark Station (as pp have mentioned, direct tube from Wembley park via jubilee line). We are staying a few days sightseeing as well. If you're only staying one night does it absolutely have to be a family room? There was another thread recently where the op was asking about an extra child - the consensus was that as most premier inns have kiosk checkin, the chances of being challenged are quite low.

London isn't the only place in England.

There will be 1000’s of people leaving the concert, mostly women.
Also - London has street lights.

Honestly the hysteria about London on here is ridiculous.

CheeryEeyore · 26/06/2026 16:27

If you are OK with buses then the Premier Inn Hanger Lane is worth looking at. If you are coming down by car it has parking, but it's also very close to Park Royal and Hanger Lane tube stations. For the concert itself you can get the 483 bus from Wembley in the direction of Ealing which stops about 2 mins (if that) walk from the hotel. The service is pretty reliable. It's not the most glamorous area but I've sometimes taken that bus in the late evening and never felt unsafe.

As it's an event day the 483 will probably be on diversion so not stopping at the stadium itself but you can walk up to Wembley Central Station and catch it there.

I stay in Hangar Lane a lot but whether there is an event on the price triples.

the other alternative at the opposite end of the metropolitan line is Aldgate.
