To ask what's your favourite part of your body?

Seen many threads lately about women fretting over what body parts of themselves that they hate and it makes me sad. It makes me sad that I feel this way about myself, too.

Every single day I see new social media posts/articles about X celebrity has gained/lost weight and looks awful, or 'look at how great this conventionally attractive celebrity looks' then pick her apart down to bone structure and genetics, to make women everywhere race to the mirror once more and pick themselves apart for not looking like that. I'm sick of it.

So, what is your favourite body part? What do you love about your body?

I like my arms. They used to be extremely lean and toned and then I had kids and give up on myself for a while and they got fatter. They're leaning out again now that I have remembered I am a human being and started exercising/eating well again and I'm starting to like them! Yay. I also like my legs even though they're short and stubby as hell. But they're curvy and chonky and I like it.

I have to say my least favourite part would be my stomach as it is 90% loose skin and no effort. But, I'm coming to accept it for what it is; my children's first home and, well, it's just a stomach. Who cares.

Let's be having it sexy ladies

Thinking on other stuff bar my face I’ve always been quite dismissive of other parts of my body because I’m fat but my ankles and feet are lovely too. I don’t care about dressing up too much!!

a new one for you all, I developed lichen simplex on my outer labia and went to a dermatologist. Who told me I’m anatomically correct down there and in very good condition 😂 I’ve always liked down there too!

My eyes, big blue and pretty

Genuinely nothing which is really depressing. It’s lovely to read so many of you being able to celebrate, even a little something of, yourselves.

There is always something x 💐

I like that I am tall and have a great bum! I also love my hands.

I hate my stomach but I’m working on it… slowly. Very very bloody slowly 😂

My brain.

My nails - they are so strong and grow like wild mint. To think I used to get fake ones put on top…

From the knee down. Well-shaped calves, slim ankles, neat feet with straight toes (which are a wonder considering the high heeled pointed toe shoes I used to wear). Also eyelashes - dark and thick enough!

Least favourite would be my fingernails. Short and stubby nailbases; even when I used to grow them and paint them, they still looked short and stubby (so I just keep them short and tidy now).

It's a good idea to remember the bits you like from time to time!

I like my eyes. I wear glasses now which is a shame as it does hide them slightly

Gosh I’m very envious of people on this thread. The only things I like about my body is the two babies it gave me and the fact it hasn’t yet gone wrong health wise.

But that IS something ti love about your body!

Mine is well and strong, grew, and fed two children. That is fucking amazing.

For me, how I feel about my body has changed in the last few years as I approach 50. No longer do I care about looking good to other people. I appreciate the good fortune I have had in having a body that (mostly) works just fine.

It has been a huge mindset shift which has improved my physical and mental health immensely.

You really can just 'let go' of society's bullshit if you want to.

Whichever bit of me is not hurting at any given time.

That's the red head superpower! You probably won't go grey at all, it'll just fade until it's beautiful white.

Hopefully!
