To ask what's your favourite part of your body?

Seen many threads lately about women fretting over what body parts of themselves that they hate and it makes me sad. It makes me sad that I feel this way about myself, too.

Every single day I see new social media posts/articles about X celebrity has gained/lost weight and looks awful, or 'look at how great this conventionally attractive celebrity looks' then pick her apart down to bone structure and genetics, to make women everywhere race to the mirror once more and pick themselves apart for not looking like that. I'm sick of it.

So, what is your favourite body part? What do you love about your body?

I like my arms. They used to be extremely lean and toned and then I had kids and give up on myself for a while and they got fatter. They're leaning out again now that I have remembered I am a human being and started exercising/eating well again and I'm starting to like them! Yay. I also like my legs even though they're short and stubby as hell. But they're curvy and chonky and I like it.

I have to say my least favourite part would be my stomach as it is 90% loose skin and no effort. But, I'm coming to accept it for what it is; my children's first home and, well, it's just a stomach. Who cares.

Let's be having it sexy ladies

My gorgeous small breasts ("cracking pair of tits" to quote a lover), mega long legs, gorgeous smile, high IQ.

I have amazing pert breasts. Even after two kids they wont give up. I'm a natural 36D and they still point upwards. I dont know why, I have done nothing to deserve it but they do. You know that expression "a butt that wont quit" well thats my boobs - they wont ever quit. My butt on the other hand would quit after about 15 mins 😂

Hahaha love that. Im the opposite, my bum refuses to give up but my boobs gave up before they even tried. When I was breastfeeding my son, I sustained a wrist injury during birth from the cannula being put in wrong, so I could only hold him to feed him on the right side. The result was my right boob being enormous and my left boob being non-existent. Everybody has a biggie and a smalls. Luckily they've returned to normal, except much saggier

I have great skin. I look like I’m in my mid-40s when I’ll be 60 in 2028. This is due to a genetic defect that causes other problems, but my goodness, having great skin is amazing.

I love my breasts. Never had kids but they are large and voluptuous, and lovely. I also have no bum, which is becoming more obvious now I’ve lost four stone.

NormasArse · Yesterday 19:38

None of my body parts are anything to write home about, but they seem to work as a whole.

AnonymousUser4 · Yesterday 19:39

My stomach. It’s always been flat, washboard-esque even after four children. Just wish I never got any stretch marks so I could show it off more!

hehe! its funny isn't it how some body parts make us so proud and others just end up a huge disappointment. That said, I try to be grateful for my entire body, its served me well for many years and I am healthy and fit so thats something to be grateful for

If you seen my hands you would think that im 90 years old, or dead

I think mine are like that as I’ve got a treated underactive thyroid. But it could be something else. They’re not awful though.

MrsShawnHatosy · Yesterday 19:40

I also like my boobs, my hair which is thick and strong, my skin’s not bad for 35 and my eyes - blue with green round the pupil.

My big end has gone. The motor is just about ticking!

BettyJoanPerske · Yesterday 19:42

All of it. I'm a stone fox. I have great legs, perfect skin, high cheekbones and great tits. I'm 43 but look around 30. I don't love everything about myself, but I do love how I look.

Dorothyperky · Yesterday 19:42

I really can't be arsed to say what I like or not. But here's the thing I'm a 6ft blonde with big tits and I could get a lover if I wanted one ( I don't, my DH is on a 38 year sentence!). I'm in the beauty industry and I think everyone has something. Good skin, hair etc. Mrs Lauder said there are no ugly women, only lazy ones!
Do we think men would consider what's their best part? Would they feck unless their Percy touches their knees!

yousillygoose · Yesterday 19:43

My eyes. They’re green, one with brown flecks from my mum and one with blue flecks from my dad. They’re stark and unusual. And I have super long eyelashes. Everything else is a bit of a disaster!

eta, my skin isn’t bad..I’m 42 but frequently get told I look like I’m in my 20’s. Dedi don’t feel it!!

That’s interesting- I have too and I have the hands of someone 30 years older…

Omg 38 years for doing what?? You sound really hot tbh I bet his pining in there lol.

Thats a good motto tbh, I think every person has at least one good physical feature about them. And yes that's true lol unless they're a gym bro, in which case they'd probably say everything (from my experience)

My height. I’m 5’11 / 1.80m and I love everything about being tall. I have always looked & felt physically strong & capable. I couldn’t imagine being tiny & petite, it wouldn’t suit my personality at all. I also find men tend to treat you differently when you’re taller than them… 😉

ObelixtheGaul · Yesterday 19:50

My feet. Yes, I know a lot of people don't like feet, but I love mine.

Shizzlestix · Yesterday 19:50

I like my narrow little wrists and my collar bones. They’re quite prominent following weight loss.

I’m quite fascinated with the bottom of my ribs too, also nice and obvious.

This one is weird, but my veins are very obvious now because they’re no longer buried in fat.

HappiestSleeping · Yesterday 19:51

Forgive me for being an interloper, but my wife is no longer here to comment. I loved her sense of humour. Illness changed the shape of her body, and removed parts of it, but I loved her anyway. It was nothing to do with the physical, it's what is inside a balloon that makes it go up.

Her inner person was fabulous. The wrapper was great too, but it was just the wrapper. I was looking forward to growing old with her, with whatever that brought to her wrapper and mine, however fate had other plans.

Thebinisrightthere · Yesterday 19:53

My figure. I've never had to lose weight & eat pretty much what I want. My arms are also really toned

Yes I have been trying for a while now to just accept my body, flaws and all for a while now. Some days I do, other days I dont. But im damn proud that its survived my unfortunate life so far, and has even grown and fed 2 human beings! Still looking alright too. Not all bad

I love being tall as well. I'm not as tall as you, only five eight, but I would love to be even taller.

I think thats so important. I spent so much of my 20s/30s hating my body but now I think well damn, you've been through so much and been such a loyal friend to me. I love you body.

Yeah I always got complimented on my boobs from past lovers and never understood why as they are tiny. My most recent ex just loved that they were soft and natural. Though im actually starting to really like them as I love being able to go braless lol

You sound a lot like me! I hope to still have my lovely skin when I'm in my late fifties.
