Really Hello Fresh? Jumping on the Pride bandwagon and promoting your high fibre offering to gay men? Utterly grim.

lol people are tolerant of homosexuality until confronted with the nitty gritty details!

Nobody wants to know the nitty gritty details of other people's sex lives.
FGS stop bringing it to work/parading it on the streets/putting it into adverts for food.

I agree with you.

It’s so easy to dismiss people with accusations of pearl clutching. I’m heartened to see that most respondents here find this campaign appalling. Go ahead and call us all Mary Whitehouse if it makes you feel good about yourself though.

Its only the sexual mind which views this advert which had no pictures this way..it was about eating more fibre ...it seems its what you bring to the advert here.

No outrage for sexual images of women selling absolutely everything?

I am as sure as I can be that I live my life in a tolerant and inclusive way.

But I find this unnecessarily crude. Fresh meals are great and I see no need for the gratuitous sex reference. Nothing to do with disliking gay men. It’s reducing them just to people who have anal sex. Not sure I would love that representation if I were gay.

It is an extreme version of me not liking say, people wearing microscopic swimwear in normal shops and restaurants during a heat wave for example. Or don’t snog on a packed tube train. It is about appropriateness of behaviour. Is that not ok to say that these days?

I think it is a real shame where if you want to uphold certain standards of decency and class, you are automatically labelled a bigot. I think we need to have better standards for ourselves as people, and not just aim for the lowest possible levels of behaviour.

The character list is like a tick box of Channel 4 favourites: drag queen, trans woman, prostitute. I’ll pass thanks.

It really isn't...another example of being polluted by prejudice...and obsessed by sex (that others may or may not be having)

DangerQuakeRhinoSnake · 13/06/2026 12:30

Polluted by something, alright.
