I KNOW that plenty of the men who come are not evil and don't want to commit sexual assault. But clearly a number who have come are, and there's strong evidence that male migrants are disproportionately lileky to do so.

This almost surely at least partly caused by misogynistic culture in various areas meaning back home they perceived uncovered women as permissible to assault. But surely they know it's different here? That they will likely be caught? They are at least more likely to be punished here for assault.

Or are they convinced our police system will let them off?

Or they're not aware our norms are different?

Or just don't care about the consequences?

I wonder also if criminals are in a sense selected for since they may have little to tie them to their home countries, or even be escaping punishment there.

I'm talking in the areas where the asylum seekers are coming from. Cherie Blair actually made the same comment and was criticised. Then African women started to phone in and share their experiences. One of my Nigerian friends was first sexually assaulted at 6, she didn't find out the same had happened to her sisters/cousins/friends until she came to England and could talk about things. None of the men face charges. Twinning toilets was important because sexual assaults take place when women have to go to toilet. Underwear charities exsist because if a girl in a poor region is wearing underwear other men don't assault her, because a man must be willing to pay for her, so she's off limits. Underwear is expensive. On here there's a minimising of life in Africa and Pakistan etc for women, but it harms women in those areas. My own background is South Africa, but I mix in the Nigerian/Ghanaian/Zimbabwe communities. Girls at school have to do sexual favours to pass courses, it's horrific and epidemic.

Can you give me a source for that claim about dolphins? They would not be able to do a human style IQ test so how was this 'IQ' measured?

Good point and question. You are right that it cant be measured the same way and that scientists would probably shy away from stating a number or range. The numbers I gave were estimates found by googling, so hardly scientific!

However they can estimate animals intelligence level via considering:

-brain size and structure
-problem solving ability
-self awareness
-ability to communicate
-social intelligence

Bottlenose dolphins have a bigger brain than humans.

I sent a relative a link to R v Uxbridge re asylum seekers being able to seek where they felt safe once - I was finally believed, but only as they’d taught law and had an interest I think, they’d not previously heard of this. I mean didn’t change their views but the facts were accepted!

I do partly blame governments of all colours for this tbh - they encourage such narratives or at least never clarify.

As a scientist, I can say this hypothesis is almost impossible to test and get any kind of reliable data.

Please take a note that a high position of Poland among countries that accepted refugees is due to the fact that we accommodated very significant number of war refugees from Ukraine. Majority of them are women, children and teenagers. Furthermore, Ukrainian men may culturally be different from Poles but not to the extend Afghans and Iraqis are. Thus, the low incidence of rape and sex crimes in Poland should not be considered as contradicting the thesis that having high number of male immigrants from muslim countries is risk factor for the safety of your women. I am afraid that the reality is sad and very simple. It is not about our believes. It is about reality.
