Okay I'll go first....
Those Norwegian socks
Purdy and Fig (caught me on one of those bloody automatic subscriptions too so I paid twice!)
The singing cactus toy! (Although I still think its funny 😂)

Clearly I am the only one then 🙈🙈

For me it was the dancing coke can wearing sunglasses back in the 80s! Everyone got one!
I fell for the Crimpet, absolutely bloody useless, too small for a normal wrap and I seemed to end up with 2! Gave one away and can honestly say, we both have them in the drawer and don't use them!
Fell for Method Rhubarb antibac spray, then realised less than a quarter of a way in I hated the smell!
I'm an advertisers dream, so no doubt I'll think of more! 🤣

the spiraliser. Courgette is still courgette when it’s twirly!

Notasbigasithink · Yesterday 22:30

Oh I forgot the stuff from the 90s!
I was also the proud owner of the singing cod/fish mounted on the plaque 😂

My son loves the Norwegian socks I got him a couple of Christmases ago!

I too am a fellow spiraliser owner!
I have however managed to dodge the nutribullet and any form of an air frier just from plain stubbornness!

God I remember those, but I never fell for that one! 🤣

Nordic Socks? That exact brand you can take from my cold, dead feet. I absolutely adore them and find they're worth every penny. (Plenty of rubbish imitations around though.)

Swizzel000 · Yesterday 22:35

Tubing mascara, when it came it was entirely in Chinese and looked very dodgy so went straight in the bin.
steam mop- crap
whizzy top brush thing to clean shower-crap

Swizzel000 · Yesterday 22:35

those jelly bras- bloody lush and a good buy!

Butterflystar76 · Yesterday 22:41

love the socks, fell for purdy and figg and got caught twice…. Never again…
Dash water…. Yuk…
sorbet ice pops… expensive but yummy!!
an influencers dream I am 🤣

Toddlerteaplease · Yesterday 22:42

My ward was given a singing cactus toy, by a patients mum, so that we would remember him. (He had one too) I somehow ended up
taking it for a walk in the local park after work and sharing an ice cream. 🤔

MsAmerica · Yesterday 22:44

I'm not sure how "being unreasonable" would enter into it.
It could imply being gullible, or foolish, or wasteful - but why unreasonable?

Toddlerteaplease · Yesterday 22:45

I second the steam mop being crap. Had to sweep up the tide marks it left behind. Nespresso milk frother; awful. Upgraded to a proper grown up machine with steam wand.

That whizzy top shower cleaner is the worst most useless thing I’ve ever bought!

Many kitchen items - I’m a gadget advertiser’s dream. I do love many of them, and use them frequently, but have a mini waffle maker and nutribullet languishing amongst other things in a cupboard. I’m now a Vinted sucker

I have been eyeing these. Are they really good?

My recommendation - LUXE white foundation that goes the colour of your skin it's really nice.

Oooo! I keep seeing adverts for them and wondered if they're worth the hype?!

The only thing I’ve bought after seeing it online that actually does what it’s supposed to is Miracle de Paris fake tan/body make up. Goes on so easily - I am allergic to actual fake tan.

I’ve been stupidly influenced into buying crap Chinese hair curlers, Korean make up, tubular mascara, eye bag cream and none of them worked. Never again!

Frostynoman · Yesterday 22:50

I use our nutrient as a blender. Never once have I made a smoothie with it!

AgMaggy · Yesterday 22:53

I was scammed by fake Nordic socks 😭

We got one and I couldn't agree more. It's been used precisely twice. I'm working on throwing it away, the money has already been spent.

Elevate

BitterTits · Yesterday 22:56

I use my nutribullet most days for sauces, soup and dressings. My kids use it for smoothies - none of the kale and spinach swill that I originally envisioned using it for though! I even take it on holiday.

Rarely use the air fryer.
