I don't know if my mum rage is out of control but I went to Asda pizza counter and they were closing so I was told as soon as I joined the queue of 2 people that they were shut. They don't display time and the lights were on, so I was a bit annoyed.

I went to look at the premade pizzas, very annoyed but I didn't say anything to the lady. She then asked how many pizzas I wanted, I reminded her she was shut so why does it matter.

Aibu - either shut and be shut, or serve people?

I think "Mum rage" is clearly just a slightly more grown up version of a toddler tantrum, if this thread is anything to go by.

She told me the pizza counter was shut. Then proceeded to ask me how many pizzas I was buying. How is that any of her business?

She told you she was shut as you joined the queue so you knew not to queue up... then asked how many pizzas you wanted clearly because she saw how disappointed you were and wanted to do a nice thing.

It's her business if she has worked out she can spare the time to make a few more pizzas and still catch her bus on time and wants to stop you being disappointed at having to settle for premade pizza.

She presumably has set hours when the counter is open. You arrived after it had closed. She told you this.
Seeing your disappointment she offered to make you some and asked how many.
