does anyone know anyone who works there please? Someone stole an item out my hands today in a different store and it’s the only store with stock of the item which I’ve hunted everywhere for but I can’t get through to store only a central call centre; anyone know how I can before I drive all that way for potentially wasted journey please?

and unless the Op sent personal messages to several posters ? then @Hallamlass was the only person who knew what the Op wanted.

So I can't understand why anyone would be buying a bag this morning when from what I can read only one person knew exactly what the Op wanted and that is the poster that updated us all to say the Op had the bag !

I bought the bag in black last night because the OP messaged me & told me that's what she wanted. I let her know but she didn't read my message until tonight.

No need for the nastiness from some posters, obviously they are quite content and live minimalist lives never wanting anything at all.

Just to say that looking at the stock levels, approx 2 in stock in black and approx 7 in the taupe - and given that yesterday, OP was saying there were approx 2 in stock - it seems to be the black one she was after?

It was definitely the black bag she wanted. Im not sure why the other poster is saying different but it doesn't matter now anyway because she got 1 so I will return the 1 I bought for her. After a rubbish Christmas I thought it would be nice to help someone out but it hasn't worked out that way after all.

Ah that's a shame. I was actually rooting for OP to get her bag especially after the troll posts calling her desperate. But that wasn't nice of her giving different people the run around via private messaging and then not even responding once she got what she wanted.
Sorry you wasted your time and effort @Blacksheepatchristmas it was really nice of you to try doing something nice for someone you don't even know. You must be a lovely person!

Maybe both the same person. Knowing MN, nothing surprises, certainly very strange that they'd both just disappear off the thread. It's very poor form to plea to the extent the OP did, then just ignore you!

As an aside, the bag isn't even that nice.
